Next-generation Toyota Fortuner takes shape

50 posts in this topic

I don't know why but the new car doesn't look like a proper Ladder on frame car. The old Fortuner had a butch look and everyone used to get out of the way when one is coming. The new Endeavour on the other hand looks spot on. It has also got some high tech gadgets.

Seems launch of the new Fortuner in India is right around the corner. Check out these first pics of the India-spec car at a Gujarat Dealership.

Big Thank you to Mr. Suresh for sending us these pics.

Ford Endeavour will have tough time to stand against Fortuner. I got chance to look new Fortuner closely and the way Toyota cleverly gave curves and covered the bulge on the exterior is commendable.

Fortuner looks very proportionate considering it's huge size while Endeavour looks bulky as hell and from some angles it looks too big to even call it as a car.

The new Fortuner has been launched. Here are the ex showroom Delhi prices

Diesel:

  • 2WD MT 27.52L
  • 2WD AT 29.14L
  • 4WD MT 30.05L
  • 4WD AT 31.12L

Petrol:

  • 2WD MT 25.92L
  • 2WD AT 27.61L

Yes the Endeavour is cheaper. Will be intersting to see how buyers lap this up

I am amazed at these prices , looks like they are vary of the competition.

Looking at the prices of the Innova , i was of the opinion that they would be north of 30L

These are tempting prices , would have to start saving now and hopefully grab the Petrol AT next year.

Just came across this video of a Fortuner, Thar, Storme 400, and Endeavour attempting a vertical climb.... The Fortuner made it look so easy!

Toyota is showcasing this Fortuner TRD Sportivo at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. It seems to be slightly different from the one sold in Thailand. It sports a large black plastic fog lamp enclosures, silver skid plates, new diamond cut alloy wheels, and a larger rear spoiler.
