  3. Spy pics: New Hyundai Kona SUV

    Hyundai will launch the Kona Electric - its first all-electric model for India - on July 9. Found a walkaround giving a closer look: In international markets, the Kona EV is available with two options – a 39kW battery pack with about 312km claimed range and a 64kW unit with a 482km range on a single charge. For India, Hyundai is expected to bring the 39kW model, which makes the equivalent of 136hp and 395Nm of peak torque, and has a claimed 0-100kph time of 9.7sec and a top speed of 155kph. The lithium-ion battery pack can be charged to 80 percent capacity in as little as 54min using a 100kW DC fast charger, or 6hr 10min from a standard AC source. You can find more info here:

  5. Pics: Skoda Superb facelift spotted testing

    Skoda has finally revealed the Superb facelift! It gets a new-look grille and added chrome trim between the rear LED lights + a new front bumper that increases the length of the car by 8mm. It's the first Skoda to get full-LED Matrix headlights (as an option) and new driver assistance features that include predictive cruise control. The refreshed Superb will also get a plug-in hybrid variant for the first time for international markets. You can find more info here:

According to that partnership, the two firms will co-develop a mid-size C-segment SUV for which the platform and powertrain will be provided by Mahindra.   8. Ford Ecosport facelift

    Found some more pics of the EcoSport Thunder... the spy pics suggest it will get matte black decals on the hood, at the sides, roof and a tailgate-mounted spare tyre cover + new design 17-inch alloy wheels. All the chrome accents have also been changed with gloss black inserts. On the inside, the EcoSport Thunder will get a new cloth upholstery option, though besides that, the rest of the features will remain the same as that offered on the Titanium trim. Source

    Thanks a lot for sharing this information. I thought that Maruti has already announced the date of launch for this SUV. I was not able to find any exact price or launch date details and so did I asked the same.

  11. Hyundai recently introduced the EX variant of the Creta, which sits above the base Creta E+. The Creta EX 1.6 petrol comes with features like front fog lamps with daytime running lights, a rear-seat armrest with a cupholder, adjustable rear-seat headrests and a rear parking camera. In addition to the features on the Creta EX petrol, the EX diesel gets a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted audio controls, two tweeters and a USB charging slot with a 12V power outlet at the front.   16. This is ultra compact SUV, don't know how much more compact will these SUVs get in future. Anyway, this is par for course and being Hyundai it's loaded with features as usual. Should sell in good numbers. PS: I am getting bored of this compact phenomenon !!

  21. Just came across a walkaround video of the SX variant of the Hyundai Venue compact SUV. The video shows off the exteriors and interiors of the car in a fair amount of detail. This specific Venue is fitted with the 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with the seven-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Have a look at the walkaround:
  22. Elite i20 - Yay or Nay?

    Baleno would be a better choice here. I personally seen people having a lot of complains from Hyundai with their i20 and Verna. Else with that kind of budget, you can look for Tata Nexon as well. Petrol XT model should be a good fit.
