  1. Toyota has just updated the Yaris for our market. The Yaris range now starts from new J (Optional) trim and also gets a new G (Optional) and dual-tone V (Optional) trims. The prices for the updated Toyota Yaris now start from Rs 8.65 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). What do you guys think of the update?

  2. I just came across images of the international spec Hyundai i10, which is the counterpart of the Grand i10 Nios available in India. The car is slated to make its debut at the 2019 Frankfurt motor show., though images of its configurator have leaked online. The biggest difference compared to the Nios is the front end on this car. What do you all think of the international spec of the Hyundai i10?

  3. It's confirmed, the Honda HR-V has been axed for the Indian market even before it entered production. Honda was all set to conduct the final trial production of the HR-V SUV in September this year, though as the model has been axed Honda has stated it will compensate suppliers for tooling investment.

  4. Tata is now officially offering a sunroof as an accessory for the Harrier SUV. The sunroof can be fitted by Tata dealers for a sum of Rs 95,100, plus installation charges. The electric sunroof for the Harrier, the H-300 is manufactured by Webasto and it can be equipped by existing Harrier customers, via Tata dealerships.

  5. I came across these images of a new Tata Harrier getting a sunroof fitted. The images show the step-by-step procedure of getting a sunroof fitted, from the marking to the cutting of the roof and headliner. What do you guys think of the modification? Would you get it done or wait for Tata to offer it from the factory?

  6. Some new images of the Harrier automatic have surfaced online. These images show off the automatic gearboxes gear selector as well as the exterior of the SUV. What do you guys think of the Harrier auto, do you think the new gearbox will benefit its performance in our market?

  7. Found a walkaround giving a closer look at the Pajero Sport facelift recently unveiled in Thailand. Exterior styling changes include an updated front fascia, a higher bonnet, new alloy wheel design, revised rear bumper, tweaked tail-lamps, a spoiler atop the tailgate. Inside, it gets a digital instrument cluster with an 8.0-inch LCD display, a revised centre console, and the door handles now comes finished in leather.

  8. A teaser video of the upcoming Tata Altroz premium hatchback has been leaked. The video showcases a top-down view of the car which reveals the front doors open to a 90-degree angle. The teaser also shows off the interiors from which we get a glimpse of the touchscreen infotainment system and semi-digital instrument cluster (similar to the one seen in the Harrier). What do you all think of the Tata Altroz hatchback?

  9. Another image of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 has surfaced online, this time showing off the car from the side. From the image, it is clear that the XL6 gets captain seats, six-seat configuration as well as roof rails and body cladding. I have attached the zoomed-in images showing off the second row of seating. What are your opinions on the XL6?

  10. I have just come across some images of Maruti's new XL6 people mover. The images show off the car without any exterior camouflage. The changes on the outside appear to include exterior body cladding, black alloy wheels and faux skid plates, besides these changes the rest of the bodywork is the same as the regular Ertiga. The XL6 as the name suggests is also expected to have a six-seat configuration with captain chairs in the second row. Maruiti is also expected to sell the XL6 via its premium Nexa dealerships.   11. The first images of the facelifted Hyundai Verna have surfaced online. From the images, it is evident that the front and rear styling are drastically changed when compared to the current model and more in keeping with Hyundai's current international design language. It has not yet been confirmed by Hyundai if this indeed is going to be the model that will make its way to our market. What do you all think of the refreshed Verna's looks?

  12. Here are some images of a modified Tata Harrier, which has been finished in red and sports new alloy wheels. The Harrier badging on the hood is reminiscent of Land Rover's badging style. The modification has been done by SRT Coimbatore. What do you guys think of this modified Harrier?




  13. Honda has just revised its WR-V range for 2019 and has added a new mid-level trim caller the 'V'. The new V trim is priced at Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In addition to the introduction of the new trim-level, Honda has also increased the amount of kit available on the base S trim level which now includes 16-inch alloy wheels with a gunmetal finish, automatic climate control with the touch control panel, among other features.

  14. I have come across a video of the new Renault Kwid facelift spied testing on Indian roads. The updated hatchback's design has been inspired by the electric Renault KZE that was unveiled at the 2019 Shanghai motor show. Renault is expected to launch the Kwid facelift by the end of 2019 in our market. What do you think of the refreshed hatchback?

  15. Hyundai has just launched the Kona Electric in India at a price of Rs 25.30 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom, India). The Kona electric for India comes with a 39.2kWh lithium-ion battery that is said to provide an ARAI-rated range of 452km. Hyundai will also provide the Kona Electric with a 3-year/unlimited kilometre warranty as standard along with an 8-year/1.6 lakh kilometre warranty for the battery.

  16. Looks like the dual-tone Harrier has started reaching dealerships. Available only with the top-spec XZ trim, the Tata Harrier Dual Tone costs Rs 20,000 more than the standard mono-tone versions and there are two options to choose from, Calisto Copper with a black roof, and Orcus White with a black roof.
