  1. Here are scoop pics of the Nissan Urvan caught testing in Chennai sent to us by an Autocar India reader . Looks like we might see a launch soon. The Urvan is sold as commercial cargo mover as well as micro bus with seating configurations from 8 seater to 14 seater in Asian markets. In the Philippines, the Urvan comes with a 3.0 litre 4 cylinder diesel engine putting out 105 horsepower and 209 Nm of torque. Lets see what engine comes to India.
  2. The Xenon has been sold in the market for quite sometime now as a lifestyle vehicle. Tata has now launched a pick up version of the Xenon for the commercial market. It will be sold in two variants: A single cab and a double cab layout. The single cab will come with a 72 bhp 3.0 diesel engine. Standard equipment includes an engine immobilizer, side intrusion beams and collapsible steering column. The double cab will get a 115 bhp 3.0 dicor diesel engine and will come with features like AC, power windows, central locking and limited slip differential. Prices for the Xenon pickup (Ex Thane) Single cab: Rs. 5.44 lakh Double cab: Rs. 6.34 lakh The Xenon pickup will come with a warranty for 3,00,000 kms or 3 years whichever is earlier. In my opinion this is so much better looking that the Mahindra Genio which seems to be its direct competition.
