New Renault compact 7-seater called Triber

Recommended Posts

Found these renders showing what a Kwid-based Renault seven-seater could look like... it doesn't identically match up to the spy pics of the test mule, but these definitely give an idea of what the Triber could look like. What do you think?

Renault's finally revealed the Triber! It measures under four metres in length. Powering the Triber will be an upgraded version of the Kwid’s 1.0-litre (BR10), three-cylinder petrol engine making 72hp and 96Nm of torque. This engine is the same 1.0 SCe petrol motor used in international models like the Renault Clio and Dacia Sandero. The only transmission option for the Triber at launch will be a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Triber will be display at the 2019 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show... interesting to note that it will be available in Indonesia with 14-inch alloy wheels and 15-inch black alloy wheels. What do you think of the black alloys?

Renault is all-set to launch the Triber tomorrow and it will be available in four variants at the time of launch - RxE, RxL, RxT and RxZ. While the base variant might miss out on some features, it will come with dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, a speed alert warning, seatbelt reminders and air-con vents for all three rows.  Moving up the variant line-up will introduce features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry/go, cooled centre console storage, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, alloy wheels, a reverse camera and two additional airbags for the front row occupants.

Came across this walkaround of the RxL variant:
