Hyundai i10 facelift Spotted!

Recommended Posts

That's Really an Innovation to create such a Model-i10 'Blue-On' & then launch & the design Promotion Idea.

Does it mean that Hyundai is contemplating on bringing the hybrid i10 here too?

This is a Complete Full Speed 100% Electric Vehicle not a Hybrid..

Hyundai have already showcased the i10-Electric at the Last Auto Expo, New Delhi & now after GM-India's Spark Electric plans(which are collapsed now), Hyundai might have planned this EV for Our Market too.

Lets wait & Watch from this Korean Giant..

But anyways the New Face-lifted i10 in Cool-Blue shade also looks Superb with Good Interior Gadgetry like ACC, Steering Mounted Audio controls, Smart & Hi-Tech Instrument Cluster, etc.

I saw the new i10 yesterday and first impression suggest don't buy the gold champage colour as it really look bad imho even bright colours like electric red ,blue (except the dark blue) and yellow won't suit the facelifted i10 . I think it was a salesman taking the car to the showroom from yard but the best improvement is the rear it looks good compared to the current model . I think I saw the VVt badging too on the side fender and turn indicator in mirror .

Sorry guys no pics was in a hurry to catch the train.

+1 to all above. HOPE, they will fix the steering rattle which is on 99.999% i10's and i20's.

The senior management from Hyundai is also washing off their hands from this issue as there is no permanant solution. It looks like a design flaw.

I had raised this issue with autocar also but in vain.

There have been a lot of improvments and add ons. The car looks fantastic. What I am wondering is that will all these ad ons and improvments, how much does the top model Asta cost? Must be a pretty high number.

So 4,87,000/- is a price that is pretty good for a car hosting such features. Now what I feel is that Alto K10 and Hyundai I10 fall into different categories. Someone thinking of going for K10 will not think of I10 due to price difference. I10 is now into Swift territory.

In the end, good job by Hyundai. Keep it up!!

Its has already been launched courtesy ET:

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today launched the new generation

i10 which has gone through a design change and refreshed engines along

with new interiors. The highlight of the transformation is the front

look which has become muscular and sporty. Interiors too give an

upmarket feeling and plastics have been put together nicely. The next

few clicks will provide you with details about the new significant

features of the i10 and the last couple of slides provide you with the

specifications and the pricing for all 10 variants.

@Sandy: Great work and thanks for keeping us posted. The hatch has become even more refined and is a 'premium' entry level hatch with a host of features. Wonder how much the Asta auto costs OTR? The new i10 has been launched says the HMIL official website; details still being updated.

I feel prices are little too high and top model still doesn't have ACC and Alloy wheels.

Day by day hyundai is increasing prices like Honda, is there some thing to do with "H" badge ?

IMHO main weaknesses of i10 have not been addressed to the extent one would have liked:

1. Look of the rear. i10's rear always looked to be half cooked. As if designer/stylist lost all concentration in making the front end only. Same situation remains. Front end is heavily tweaked and look quite contemporary. However the design of the hatch remain dull and slight tweak in the tail lamp cluster has not been able to hide the age of the car.

2. i10 lacks much needed road presence as compared to rivals such as Swift, Figo etc. An increase in the shoe size would have make it more imposing. A nice set of 14" wheel is what required.

3.Ride & handling: Remains bumpy and as uninspiring ever.

However still i10 make a strong case for itself due to:

1.Striking new facia.

2. Improved feature packed interior (ACC notwithstanding).

3. Ever reliable Hyundai After Sales Service.

Hyundai i10 Kappa2

The i10 took the baton from the Santro as a sensible and

comfortable economy family car. The sales charts have certainly proved

that the i10 had the right ingredients, cementing a formidable

reputation for itself in the small car market. Now Hyundai is all set to

up the ante with the new i10 which has been considerably refreshed to

take on the increased competition.

Design plays a big role in the choice of cars and the

responsibility of getting the i10 to look right in 2010 has fallen on

the new one-piece bumper. The new hexagonal grille is the new Hyundai

family look that debuted on the ix35 crossover. It has certainly added a

lot of energy and makes the i10 look much more aggressive than before.

The massive air dam uses a honeycomb grille that gives a sporty

touch, the round fog lamps have been replaced by sharper, rectangular

units and the larger headlamps look striking even from a distance. All

these changes come together to create a look that gives the little i10

more presence on our bustling streets.

Move around to the side and you
