Hoping this is FINAL or will you engage us for a second round of debates

Lets hope.

But one thing I wanna share that even if I should wait for another couple of months, then what can be options, which can be considered.

My speculation covers only:

-Renault Duster(New product & might be out of budget by significant margin).

-Chevrolet SAIL(Again New product & Petrol option initially).

-Tata MANZA CS(again No exact time frame for its launch & product Info)

I have confirmed info on Sail.

Petrol launch in September end or October start.

Hatchback to be priced in the middle of Swift and i20.

No skimping on features

Diesel in March of there are no delays

Sedan pricing around Sunny.

@Nishu In the next two months, the only product being launched is new Ritz. All others are around Navratri or Diwali.

Frankly speaking, Only SAIL sedan is the car which really seems to be a complete car in this segment, else others are just a compromised products to fill the segment voids.

& Personally I like it very much in both Styling & desirability front.

But waiting almost 1.5 years for it, is an Impossible task now.

A month or two can be possible at this stage.

Will be going to Check out New ETIOS sedan this week to chalk out the final-est verdict of my decision.

Obviously the suggestion was not to wait, given you have already had to wait more than your fair share.

In my opinion (and from what I gather you are doing the same) go for Dzire if available in short period of time else Etios is not a bad car at this price point.

I know it is very difficult to get a car in right price with right blend of features and aspirations.

To me Aspirations matter the most' date=' then pricing details & then features.
Rs.8.20 lacs for tiny Sedan is too much, I guess which Ultimately cross Rs.9 lacs with Interest, etc included[/quote']

Thanks man. I see your head is for ETIOS and heart is for Dzire.

I think whichever you would buy...it would be a fine product overall.

Post Edited: While Quoting, use only a section of the post & not the entire matter.

Finally settled in for DZire.

As a strange event(listed below) have made my mind to figure out better.

While returning from the Bank in afternoon today, Checked out ETIOS sedan which was being displayed at the Road Show on the way, to my home.

Display car was Red ETIOS V-variant & Funnily what I observed in that car:

In short span of time, say 5-10mins, I came across more Glitches, than its qualities & those were:

-On starting the car, its Tachometer needle didn't responded. On asking the SE;

I said: Why it isn't working ??

SE replied: Sir chal toh rha tha, abi dekha humne(It was working fine, we just observed few mins back).

I said: Let me try.

I tapped the Tachometer screen, at its base.

And surprisingly It came into life. smiley36.gif

& SE also smiled with huge blushing Smile.

-Steering column housing were as usual loose(common to all ETIOS & Liva) & was eclipsing the keylock.

-Upholstery was as usual Average for car costing Rs.8.4 lacs OTR with front seats exactly feeling like to that of Alto LX 800cc. Even i10 'i-Relax' front seats with Sporty Integrated Headrests felt much better.

So, after looking at these Imperfections/glitches Toyota Etios is successfully parting her way from my Shortlisting list.

Even Bank Manager(from which I've financed my car) gave Green signal to my choice happily.

Another option which he gave me was of Hyundai i20 CRDi Sportz.

But our(all ACI-ians) edge is towards DZire.

So, final-est choice is New Swift DZire ZDi. smiley10.gif
