The car looks overdone. Too much happening in the design. I much prefer the elegance of an Aston Martin or Jaguar or the simplicity of a Porsche. That said, McLaren are absolutely first class and difficult to match when it comes to technology. This car will have the same engine as the MP4-12C, but is rumoured to produce 960bhp with a KERS unit. It's going to be blindingly quick. Can't wait to read a test report on this car!

While it does look stunning (particularly from behind), I think McLaren is trying too hard. Perhaps they were stung too hard by criticism of the MP4-12C that said it was too bland. Don't listen to them McLaren, I think the 12C looks great and that this P1 needs to be toned down about 5 notches before production.

it will be interesting to see what the production car will perform and look like... it has got all numbers and figures to compete against the likes of mighty AVENTADOR, Agera, Veyron SS, SSC aero TT, Huayra etc.
