Looks like its the best time to buy a Maruti. MS is offering huge discounts on its cars as well as special offers. At a few places even the Dzire which sells insanely is also available without any waiting periods. These are the same cars which were boasted to possess huge waiting periods of many months altogether! In another bit, this recent advertisement at Times of India talks about Ertiga being available at a discount of Rs 25,000 and this is the diesel version

Tthe offers available on different Maruti Cars

  1. Alto 800 (Petrol & CNG) : Rs 38,000
  2. Alto K10: Rs 53,000
  3. WagonR Lxi (Petrol & CNG) : Rs 51,000
  4. Estilo (CNG) : Rs 68,000
  5. A-Star (All variants) : Rs 63,000
  6. Ritz (Diesel) : Rs 43,000
  7. SX4 (Petrol, Diesel & CNG) : Rs 73,000
  8. Ertiga (Diesel) Rs 25,000

Almost all Maruti cars are going at huge discounts. If you are looking out for a CNG car, Estilo CNG can be had for a hefty discount of Rs 68,000 and A-Star is also available at offers of upto Rs 63,000 which is applicable on all variants of the small car. That’s not all, even the Ritz which was recently facelifted is available at a discount of Rs 43,000 on the diesel variant. Along with this, dealers in Pune are also offering gold and silver coins upon successful bookings. t is claimed that these offers will go dry and a price increase will be applicable starting next month.

These discounts will be divided into various parts and will include cash discounts, exchange bonus along with other smaller discounts like corporate/teachers and others. Exact details can be had from your local dealer. Better to make the best of it.

these discounts are not so worth because maruti suzuki dealership in tirupati is not offering good exchange value and bonus to other cars other than maruti suzuki. suppose if i want to exchange my chevrolet spark with a star, they are simply telling that there is no market value and resale value for this car and they are offering very low exchange price for that car which is of 2010 model which has done only 15535 kms. So, MSIL dealers in tirupati is not offering exchange value upto customer expectations. So, in my opinion the discounts they are offering is not worth it.

Wonder what Maruti are upto. Frankly, the A-Star, Estilo and now even the SX4 aren't exactly setting sales charts on fire. Much needed discounts.

Wonder if the 73k discount is applicable to the SX4 refresh or no.

The automotive industry is facing its worst time, the main culprits are poor performers in A Segment and thus such huge discounts are on offer, this period is best to buy a car if you got extra stash in your pocket.
