Pics: Mystery Cruiser bike spotted testing. EDIT: Its a Harley

Recommended Posts

Here are pics of an unidentified cruiser bike spotted testing. Im am no expert in bikes and they are not my cup of tea but word has is that it could a new 250 cc twin Harley in the works which it might be developing for emerging markets.

If this is true and it is launched at a competitive price, it will fly off the shelves. Can any bike guy identity this?

A little birdie tells us that Harley-Davidson officials from US and India have been visiting Indian vendors with the aim to set up a manufacturing unit and a vendor base for a new line-up of Harley motorcycles that will be unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi. Developing a new cost-effective motorcycle for the Indian market is bound to take that much time. The new Harley-Davidson motorcycle will be a V-twin in the 400cc to 500cc bracket.

Built exclusively for the Indian market, it will be fully localised and will carry a price tag of Rs 3.5 lakh to take on entry level premium machines like the Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Hyosung GT250R and the soon-to-be launched KTM 390 Duke.

Only thing I hate in this bike is the normal front suspension. An Inverted suspension would have lifted its image 2 folds.

Very true..

I was about to say it is Harley the moment i saw first pic in this thread but stopped until i read this thread completely...I would love to own this :)
