The selection depends on what more is offered in TOP-END versions of hatch as compared to the base varient of a sedan. Some time for some unnecessary feature of Top end varient car makers charges premium which is not worth for the price you are paying.
It also depends on the purpose of the buying vehicle. Some time you are specifically looking for a sedan than even if top end version of hatchback is loaded with features selection will be on base varient of sedan.
If buyer is image conscious than base varient sedan would be the first choice than a top end hatch back.
It depends on personal choice and overall feel at the time of test drive of both hatch and sedan.
Some features in topend versions of hatch such as infotainment , upholstery , safety features, interior trim, colour selection, accesssories , sunroof, etc... are so nice that the base variant sedan looks like skeleton.
The VW Beetle being a cult car has always been looked upon a a cute machine. But do some mods and what you see in these pics is Bug that did 330 kph on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah USA.
Specially modified for the purpose and with Automobile mag's Preston Lerner behind the wheel, this Volkswagen Beetle LSR achieved a top speed of 205.122 mph over the course of a flying mile on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. That makes this the world's fastest Beetle.
To get there, VW contracted THR Manufacturing of Santa Paula, California, to rebuild the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. THR fitted new turbochargers, pistons, cams, connecting rods, and headers, to produce over 600 horsepower and nearly 500 lb-ft of torque at the crank – or 543 hp and 421 lb-ft at the wheel. That's well more than double what the engine produces in stock form.
VW also lowered the suspension, replaced the rolling stock with special wheels and tires, installed a limited-slip differential, stripped the interior, and fitted a roll cage, racing seat with harness, fire suppression system, and a pair of parachutes.

i have been a big fan of BMW's for a long time now. and now that BMW is releasing a mid-range cc bike, not even a single day passes without me dreaming over it. i am not here to ask you about the on-road price like everybody else, but what i want to know is
1. where will this bike be available - in TVS showrooms or in BMW?
2. any options available for the bike?
3. when and where can i book one in advance?
4. this link - "http://www.autocarindia.com/auto-news/bmw-g-310-r-launching-soon-402277.aspx" says that the sales would start from OCT'16. may i know if it is the latest news?
5. i would love to have it in pure black unlike the one that is being advertised with white sub-faring and white mud guards. is it possible to make a customized order?
thank you so much in advance
