    • Police from around the world too seem to be looking towards greener mobility options – a Greek island recently inducted an all-electric Citroen Ami into its fleet. Here though we have a much larger vehicle - the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The pictures seem to come from South Korea with the car fully decked up in Police livery and other fittings. Well EVs do seem to be the way forward in recent times with nearly all brands across the globe either rolling out one or working towards going electric. So what do you think? Will EVs be the way forward for the Indian police too? Source
    • The Kia Carens three-row SUV has already been unveiled by the Korean carmaker, ahead of its launch in our market. I have now got images of a near-production spec Kia Carens undisguised and testing on Indian roads. The Kia Carens will get two seating configurations, plenty of tech and three engine options. With the new Kia set to go on sale early next year, we can expect more sightings in the coming weeks.  You can find out more about the Kia Carens here - 2021 Kia Carens launch date, expected price, interior, exterior and more | Autocar India
    • Spotted this in Mumbai, looks like the 3-door Jimny.  Maruti Suzuki has greenlit the Jimny for an India launch. But it will be the 5-door model with a 1.5 litre petrol engine likely paired with mild hybrid tech that arrives here but no specific timeline has been released.  Maruti Suzuki has already been locally manufacturing 3-door LHD versions of the Jimny for export for almost about a year now.  What are your thoughts about this?
    • Dear Friends, For the last 3 years, I have been owning a TATA Nexon XZA+ automatic (petrol). Now I want to sell it and own a new i20 NLine DCT topend varient. Can someone suggest me if I will be doing right? I know that comparison between the two might not be possible for being SUV and Hatchback, but I know that the N Line has beter technology. However, i don't know about its safety rating which is 5 star for Nexon. I live in Delhi and so far didn't find any issue with the Nexon, but the blue N line looks very appealing to me. The -ve point of N line however is lower ground clearance and higher price, rest everything is either at par or are better.
    • The XUV700 seems to have been a big hit with us Indian buyers but what would you think of a pick-up based on the same? Mahindra did make one the Scorpio Getaway before. We only got it with the first-gen Scorpio though there was a second-gen model based on the current Scorpio in some global markets. These here are renderings of a pick-up derivative of the XUV700 though with a lot more off-road focus. Chunky tyres, beefier bumpers, bed-mounted spare wheels, this version looks ready to go off-road racing. So what is you opinion? Would a rough and tuff monocoque pick-up be appealing? Source
