It’s been six years since Hyundai revealed the Santa Cruz concept, and just hours before the official unveiling, images of the production-spec Santa Cruz pick-up have leaked online.
Although few design elements from the concept car have carried over to the production model, the Santa Cruz does have the current Hyundai family look - there seems to be a lot shared with the Tucson in terms of styling. However, the Santa Cruz’s rear design is all-new.
The Santa Cruz will be offered in a crew-cab layout (five-door) in North American markets and will rival the likes of the Honda Ridgeline and the upcoming Ford Maverick.
Toyota will expand its Crown line-up by adding a new SUV. This new SUV is based on the popular Toyota Highlander / Kluger sold abroad. The documents also confirm that the SUV features 18-inch alloy wheels and a 189hp, hybrid 2.5-litre engine
What do you think of it?
Have a KIA Seltos HTK+ Petrol bought around 4 months back. Noticed a weird behavior since buying it - the RPM of the car increases immediately after starting and remains at 1250 for about 60 secs and then drops back to 1000. Has anyone noticed a similar behavior in your cars and is it normal. The car also overheats within first 2 minutes of starting.
The service guy says its perfectly ok but with no technical explanation given. Ideally a car done neatly should have a constant RPM while idling isnt it?
The Skoda Kodiaq has received a mid-life refresh in international markets. The carmakers have also revealed new Kodiaq RS, which now gets a 245hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (the older model used a 240hp twin-turbo diesel engine, which was discontinued late in 2020 due to tightening emission norms in international markets).
The Kodiaq RS features a gloss black grille, black window frames and roof rails, and a new bespoke front bumper. It also sits on new 20-inch alloy wheels finished in metallic black. Inside, it features red RS stitching on the upholstery, and is offered with Skoda’s Virtual Cockpit as standard. The 10.25-inc digital info display features an extra Sport layout option, which gives prominence to the speedometer and rev counter.
