    New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

Looks of the Mitsubishi Eclipse is good but nowhere near H.Creta. Though I am not a big fan of both the makers but to beat creta price tag would play a major role. The service network of the Mitsubishi is pathetic in India. Hyundai has remained sincere to the Indian market.

The Brazilian Grand Prix was a high for us McLaren fans, as we saw our team come home to their first podium in about 5 years! Add to that, a mind bending drive from Carlos Sainz, who drove like a matador from dead last on the grid to his first podium, showed that McLaren are slowly, but surely getting into the game. Hopefully, when the new regulations kick in, in 2021, this iconic team with 8 championships will find their winning ways again....

Hi Experts, I own Hyundai Verna Fluidic. Launched in 2011, it was feature loaded. But mp3 play over Bluetooth did not support change of tracks via controls on steering or audio system. Although there is a hack of Apple users to use iPod cable received with the same but it would be nice to have controls change songs via Bluetooth. Android users have no luck here. In 2014, Fluidic verna received a small upgrade where the same music system’s software was updated and supported the change track functionality. How can I update my system to this latest firmware? Firmware update requires USB / CD. We can check firmware by - Turn off radio Long Press 1. Keep 1 pressed and now press 6. To enter setup - Long press 1 and then press 4. Leave 1 and 4 simultaneously and immediately press 1 four times. Press 2 to update firmware OR press 5 to update Bluetooth. My firmware is : PA710RBIGBT S/W : v1.00.GEN EEPROM : RB20KG47 BT : 3.12.2 VERNA Can someone help me update the system? Also can someone follow same steps and post verions in their verna?

Volkswagen Polo/ Vento to get another update

Volkswagen is readying another update to its ageing Polo and Vento range in the Indian market. This time, the refreshed Polo will not get just cosmetic tweaks, but will also see mechanical changes. A new set of images surfaced online give us the best look at the upcoming Polo and Vento. First up, the updated cars get new front styling which is quite similar to the high-performance limited edition Volkswagen GTI hatchback. Additionally, both cars get alloy wheels with grey finish and other minor cosmetic tweaks inside out. Under the hood, the TSI variants of the Polo and Vento will get a new BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit replacing the 1.2-litre motor and also the 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine. The new VW 1.0-litre TSI motor is from the EA211 series and is likely to come with a 94hp as well as a 115hp version, depending on the model. Apart from the Polo and Vento, this new engine will also see duty on the Skoda Rapid in future. This new engine will be locally assembled in India as part of the brand’s India 2.0 strategy that also includes market introduction of future models like the Volkswagen T-Cross SUV and the Virtus sedan. While the made-for India SUVs from VW Group India (T-Cross and Skoda Kamiq) will use the 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine, the smaller 1.0-litre TSI motor will power the Volkswagen Virtus sedan that will come a little later to replace the Vento. What are your opinions on the Volkswagen Polo/ Vento update?

    New MG Hector SUV

MG has ticked all the right boxes. Price, Features, Panoramic Sunroof, Connected Car Tech, Loads of Chrome (very tastefully done), punchy engines with hybrid and DCT gearbox. One thing missing is enthusiastic driving experience. But how many actually want that in India? Very few. So MG has gone with the trend to provide plush and superior experience rather than for people who love handling while driving

The Maxus D90 looks quite promising as its proportions and overall appearance are very eye-pleasing. In this specification, I do believe the styling looks a bit over the top, but It still comes across as a handsome SUV. Also, if I'm not wrong, it trumps its competitors in terms of its dimensions. Hopefully, it comes equipped with a good engine and gearbox combination. Hence in my personal opinion, this SUV will be a good fit and a valuable addition to MG India's line-up, though only if the pricing is competitive and the fit and finish if on par with the competition if not better.
