  1. Even Innova's maintenance / service cost is lower than Hyundai Santro.
  2. Honda trademark. The best thing about Honda and Toyota is low maintenance cost and service, so it compensates the initial cost I've seen Hyundai's maintenance cost is high, Santro, once its first 4 free servicing is over, every servicing costs minimum 5K. I can only imagine, how much it must be for Verna? Maybe twice compared to Santro?
  3. You are talking about the top end diesel? i am not sure how much Honda's diesel engines are good, Honda is still new in diesel tech. Yaris is more expensive than top end Honda City Gasoline
  4. But this car is mean for enthusiasts so it will sell well and Honda might produce it in small quantity creating a huge waiting
  5. https://www.autocarindia.com/car-news/2019-honda-civic-vs-rivals-price-specifications-comparison-411842 That pricing looks way ahead of its competitors.
  6. Its overpriced compared to its rivals. Honda has to compensate other things for that price, like low maintenance costs
  7. The current generation City is a success, because it costs less than all its competitors in that segment except Ciaz, and the basic 1.4L version of Verna
  8. I agree with that, but looking into the history... 1) First generation Honda Jazz which was launched in year 2009 was a failure in indian market because of cost, while other Honda cars were a success that time. 2) Previous generation Civic was discontinued because of cost and bad fuel economy
  9. https://www.autocarindia.com/car-news/2019-honda-civic-vs-rivals-specifications-comparison-411499 But look at the pricing, do you think Civic will be a success with that price? As i mentioned previously... Honda should reconsider the price. City has more equipment, more features, than Yaris and yet its priced lower than Yaris. I am not saying that Yaris is by any means inferior than City and i am not saying that its a failure, its just that on the roads of Delhi, I have seen very few Yaris.
  10. Do you believe on what a company would claim? A user review will give the actual figures of the actual fuel economy.
  11. https://www.autocarindia.com/car-news/2019-honda-civic-vs-rivals-specifications-comparison-411499 Seriously.....Honda pricing Civic above Corolla Altis and other rivals in that segment? I think Honda should reconsider the price. Honda City has more equipment, more features, than Corolla Yaris and yet its priced lower than Yaris. I am not saying that Yaris is by any means inferior than City and i am not saying that its a failure, its just that on the roads of Delhi, I have seen very few Yaris. Civic has to be priced in a similar fashion, when compared to Altis.
  12. Hope that engine offers better performance and fuel efficiency. I know someone spending 16-22L on car will not care about fuel efficiency, but it still matters
  13. Yes they should have given the option of manual too. I think soon, the manual gears will become the thing of past. I know people who are driving for almost 20 years and they still mess up with the clutch, specially the ladies, who have this habit of unnecessarily pressing clutches, for no reason. Honda has to price it lower than Toyota Altis.
  14. I was talking about the Gasoline engine, is it the same that was in 8th generation model?
  15. Finally Civic got some Civic sense. What engine is it using? I saw the video review of Zigwheel, and they said the engine is the same that was used in 2006 models. Is it right?
