  1. Anil Go for getz, it is spacious, low on maintenance, and would be idle for city driving.....agree wid others that swift would be rated lower in terms of space specially in terms of rear passenger..... Another option, i would suggest, if you can relook at the budget is i 20 , the car though comes to an on road price of 5.2 lacs but is fully loaded (in terms of power steering, power windows and stereo system, making it a good value for money) and yes it also has an Gen-X factor attached to it.....

  3. This is something interesting to wait and watch for: As of now people were already shelling out extra amount of money to have that HONDA experience, and now Honda is asking for more.... Guess Honda tycoons sitting at the top would have taken into the account the huge gap in price of its car with the competitors.....or may be they want to restrict themselves to the premium few......OR they are so confident about their product that they know they will sell no matter what..
  4. Seriously it is a big question mark when jazz is coming....had a discussion with a dealer here in noida, As per him Jazz will be there by December 2009
  5. Thanks for your suggestions guys, well Vijay, Accent is a good car but the only problem I foresee is that Hyundai is now only producing only one version of the same and they might discontinue this model. DD, took a test ride of i20 and its actually a fabulous car, earlier i considered it to be an expensive car, but looking at the features that it has got even in the base model it is a value for money. The base model magna comes with an inbuilt stereo system which provides a cool look to the dashboard. Vijay, Dzire petrol is also a very spacious car, with the tagmark of suzuki attached. I must say that I am more confused than ever before
  6. Squba though is not exactly a lotus elise, still you can say that it is built around a lotus elise
  7. An Excerpt from Wikipedia on Squba: the car which can easily be driven on road and at the same time can be drifted through water. The sQuba is a zero-emission,[4] all electric vehicle which uses three electric motors, one for land travel and two for water. It drives on land powered by its electric rear-wheel drive powertrain, utilizing rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Upon entering water, it floats on the surface until the operator floods the interior to submerge it. It can be submerged to a depth of 10 metres (33 ft), powered by twin electric-powered propellers supplemented by two Seabob water jets. It "flies" when underwater, like a submarine, as it is not designed to drive along the surface at the bottom of the water. The car's top land speed is 120 km/h (75 mph). On the surface of water, the top speed is 6 km/h (3.2 kn; 3.7 mph) and underwater it is 3 km/h (1.6 kn; 1.9 mph).[5] The vehicle can transport a driver and passenger in its open cockpit. The open cockpit design is intended to allow the occupants to escape easily in case of emergency. When underwater, the occupants breathe air carried in the vehicle through scuba-style diving regulators. Without occupants, the sQuba will surface automatically.[6] The twin water jets mounted on rotating louvers at the front of the vehicle provide steering and lift while it is underwater and the propellers at the rear provide forward movement.[7] The vehicle's interior is water and salt resistant so that it can be driven in the ocean.[8] The sQuba also comes equipped with a laser sensor system made by autonomous cruise control system manufacturer Ibeo to allow autonomous operation.[7]
  8. Hi All, I have recently joined this group and its really nice to see the evaluation of one and all towards every Indian Car. Coming to the problem at Hand that I have, I am really confused between the buying between buying a Tata Indigo CS and I20. Initially, I was much Skeptical about the performance of tata petrol engine but had gone through a number of reviews in from the indigo cs user who are actually in love with the car. I20 on the other hand there is nothing to worry about, but the only catch is investment dearer than one lac rupees. My running KM per month prompts me to purchase a petrol car. I have mentioned few parameters in the order of decreasing priority: 1) Space 2) FE 3) Maintenance 4) AC and defogging system Please opine on the topic or suggest some another car that falls below 5 Lac Rupees.
