Scale : 1:18 This time I have tried to add almost every possible detail, including door handles, wipers, shark fin antenna, etc.Hope you guys like this one too

  4. Updating this thread after a very long time.I just got too busy with my studies and had to leave the models half way done. Now that I'm having sem break, I completed one of them Presenting, the 1:24 Renault Duster.

  8. Recognition always feels great; even more so,when it comes from where it should. Feeling really excited..
  9. The only tool used in sculpting is pen-knife. Each model may require 4-5 of them, though.
  10. Thank you for your compliments My favorite picture. (What you see in the background is the monsoons gaining strength here in Kerala) And a few more:
  11. And here is the entire business incorporated into a single picture:
  12. And now,the much wanted stage by stage pictures : 1. The basic bodywork has been sculpted out of a plain rectangular thermocol block. 2. The surface has been coated with micropore strips, finished, and the glass area has been dealt with. 3. The headlamps and grill have been added, along with the fog lamp housing. 4. The body claddings added and the tail lamps have been fixed. 5. The wheels are being readied 6. And now, standing on its own feet(i mean, wheels ) for the very first time.
  13. Here comes the full gallery. Hats off to the Ecosport's design team. I will never forget the huge efforts i had to take in marking up all those lines and details. This is easliy the most difficult one I have attempted so far. The Ford logos are absent in some pics. They were added only at the last moment. Also, the projections in the fog lamp housings as seen in the above pictures have been removed..I felt they looked like dual exhausts placed at the front Ford with the Fiat twins:
  14. Posting the first images of the nearly finished 1:18 Ford Ecosport..there has been a long delay because of my semester exams. The entire gallery coming up shortly.
  15. tail lamps and body claddings added..plus straightening of a few defecive lines on the body
  16. Headlamps and grille fixed, fog lamp housing work is underway.
  17. The Ecosport's head lamps 'n tail lamps are now ready!! headlamps derived from Ecosport concept.
  18. Thank u for your inspiring words guys..the ecosport is now at a standstill because my semester exams are going on..production restarting on june 1st
  19. The 1:18 Ecosport now has the glass area in place.
  20. by the way.the linea and punto were made about four years back when fiat first introduced the models in india..in fact i had reworked on these two a few months back to transform them to the current look. posting the before and after pics the linea before and after the transformation and here you see a regular punto evolving into an abarth punto evo
  21. what you see here is a ford ecosport in the early stages of making.. the basic bodywork: the work is on a standstill because i got busy with my studies ans semester exams are going on..will post more pics once i start working on it again
  22. thank u for the appreciation if u meant the fiat showroom in the above pictures, there is nothing much to see about it..thats just a thermocol packaging that came with an lcd tv..(and dont mind the quality of that Fiat logo, thats my creation too the basic bodywork is made entirely out of thermocol and paper for the detailing and finishing. and tools? there is nothing much to show.just a few pen-knives. i have my own designs but they are still on paper..im planning bring them alive soon i dont have the work in progress pictures of the above two..but there is a new model coming up,and i think i can find the work in progress pics of that one.
