  1. I have a tata manza 2 year old and 10,000 km run. Last service was done 2 month ago. At that time service centre people did wheel balancing, alignment and rotation. Till then tyres were in perfect shape. Now I have noticed that rear side both tyres have more than 90% gone. I brought it to the notice of the showroom but they are not able to fix the problem. They told they will first take up the issue with tata motors and then inform me. I feel the rear tyres should be replaced freely as it is not my fault. Can anybody tell me the possible cause for this and whether they will give tyres to me.
  2. Tata Manza Petrol- average milage as displayed by the Multi information display is 17 -18km/litre. However, I have not verified if it is correct.
  3. Thank you Durango Dude. But my problem is that up to now it was giving correct beep sound. Now the sound has become abnormal & distorted.
  4. It is nearly one and half months since I got my manza. I have got the first service done. I am happy with the car. However, since yesterday there is a small problem. The seat belt buzzer is giving a strange beep. It is like a detuned sound. It is like the sound produced by some toys etc when the battery is low. Or it is like a radio signal which is very weak and disturbed. Does any one have the idea as to what could be the problem. Tata dealer asked me to take the vehicle to showroom. But, I may take vehicle after a week or so.
  5. @ cyrus: Can you elaborate a bit about price, functions and use.
  6. Recently I saw this news on a Kannada TV channel. As per that a Bangalore company has developed an electronic device similar to Black box in aeroplanes, which will keep track of movement/status of your car.If any door is opened or car is started it sends a SMS and from your mobile itself you can give the instruction to switch off the engine and the engine will switch off with in 20 seconds and it can be restarted only by the owner of the car. Looks quite amazing and interesting.
  7. I have read that Sanand Factory is almost ready. So may be in a couple of months the numbers would pick up. West Bangal Govt only has to be blamed for the Singur failure. Tatas were helpless.
  8. What happens if one accidentally double cranks the engine? Is there serious damage? This can commonly happen in heavy traffic(stop and start) and sometimes we cannot hear that engine is already on. I think only few cars like LENIA have double crank prevention system.
  9. @Durango dude: As you have rightly observed stearing cover it is a bit bulky. But only a bit and so far I have not observed any uncomfort. Yesterday I took the car on the highway and I enjoyed the drive. Anyway, I will see if I can get a better one. On the highway in 5th gear I was getting milage of 18km.
  10. What is the relation between CC, Bhp & torque? How each one of it affets the other? Is it possible that lesser CC vehicles can have more power if they have higher BHP & Torque?
  11. It is good that Fiat wants to further improve their products which are already great.
  12. Thank you durango dude for your help. The good news is that 2 of my friends have also booked the manza now.
  13. Cyrus43 Sorry somehow I am not able to upload the pics. If you can give me your email I will forward them to you so that you can upload them for me.
