  1. Carplace has come up with new set of renderings based on the recently-unveiled Seat Ibiza
  2. The 2017 Honda City is to come in S (MT), SV (MT), V (MT and CVT), VX (MT and CVT) and ZX (CVT). Customers would have the option of 5 exterior colours: Orchid Pearl White (new), Alabaster Silver, Carnelian Red Pearl, Golden Brown and Steel Grey (new). The City V will ride on 15-inch alloy wheels, while VX and ZX get new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and LED headlamps. The LED DRLs located in the headlights are standard across the range, reportedly. Inside, the City V, VX and ZX come equipped with a push button start/stop as well as a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and reverse parking camera, while VX and ZX feature leather seat upholstery and electric sunroof. The engine lineup is likely to be carried over from the outgoing model, which comprises a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The former is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission, and the diesel is linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. Source
  3. I wont buy that rear styling at all. Hope Maruti tweaks it. Here's a new set of pics >>
  4. So the Jazz Cross has been dubbed the WR-V. Co-incidentally pics of the producition car leaked simultaneously in India and in South America. I have a feeling this will dethrone the i20 Active, the only cross-hatch that actually seen on the roads as compared to other cross-hatches. Let the pics do the talking >> Source
  5. The 2017 Vios has been revealed. Should Toyota bring this to India to rival the City?
  6. Wont trust any forum unless I see a concrete source or pic.
  7. Okay, time for the next-gen WagonR to break cover. This one's a JDM car though. Love the front look for both the Standard and the StingRay. Rear styling is too boring and weird for India, hope they change it for our market. To me, The standard car's front styling looks inspired by the Chevy Silverado and the Stingray's looks are taken from the Escalade, what say guys? Source
  8. Ignis brochure has been leaked ahead of its official launch later this month. Key Takeaways Maruti will be offering two engine options with the Ignis - a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel. The petrol will be available in all four variants, while the diesel won't be offered in the Sigma (base) trim. A 5-speed MT gearbox will be standard with both engines. An AMT unit will also be offered with the petrol as well as diesel engines, though it will only be available with the mid-level Delta and Zeta variants. Following are other major takeaways from the leaked brochure: • LED projector headlamps & DRLs will be available only on the top-end Alpha trim • Zeta and Alpha variants will come with alloy wheels. Delta trim will get full wheel covers • The touchscreen Smart Play infotainment system will be available with the Alpha variants, while Delta and Zeta trims will come with a 2 DIN audio system • Delta, Zeta and Alpha trim levels will also get USB and Bluetooth connectivity and also steering mounted audio controls • Automatic climate control will be offered only with the Alpha trim • Push button start will be available on the Zeta and Alpha variants • Spare wheel in all the variants is of steel type • ABS with EBD and dual front airbags are standard across all variants Source

  10. Tata were testing a Nano EV. no news on launch though.
  11. I am sure if Toyota brings this to India, it will still sell even if its priced a lakh more than the standard Innova.
  12. So the India-spec City will look like the Thailland car that will be shown soon. This means we wont get the one that's been posted earlier in this forum.
  13. Got a chance to drive the Kwid 1.0 recently. Way better than the 800cc car. Hope the AMT is as good!
  14. One of the most bland Swift designs ever, especially after the radical 2000 model year design. Looks like a Datsun Go from the back
  15. India launch of the facelift is just around the corner, here are some pics. Source
  16. Some more pics of the upcoming Honda City facelift. According to some media reports, it may come as early as January. Not a big fan of this design frankly. Image source
  17. Guess the next update for the Fortuner in line would be the TRD Sportivo. Here are a few pics >>
  18. Many congrats on your purchase.. Do start an ownership review ..
  19. The Nexon has been spied testing once again. This mule looks a bit older due to its non-production head and tail lamps. I like the overall profile. Guess maybe Tata could add a spare wheel at the back, that may add to its chracter. What say guys?
