  1. Car is now 88k kms old. Time to replace its almost worn out 2 Bridgestone tyres. Options preferably are Bridgestone Ecopia or Apollo ! Any users, please share your views.
  2. Planning to buy a car(preferably hatchback) for city or short sub-urban usage. Which fuel type suit better ! I'm keen towards CNG, due to its high fuel efficiency & low emissions. How is the actual performance of CNG powered cars in real life usage ? Regarding their ease of operation & safety involved ! Among CNG powered cars my choice is among, Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R CNG or Hyundai Santro CNG ! So any of its users, please share your opinions.
  3. Test driven Honda Amaze CVT Diesel & came back impressed, even more than how much the product itself the anticipated. Truly a great car by Honda & worth the wait too. Somehow, it fits my set of requirements & budget too. So, will update if it makes into my shortlisted purchase list.
  4. Please suggest me good Automatic Diesel car out of these two options, -New Swift Diesel AGS. -Honda Amaze i-DTEC CVT. Priority is a good comfortable ride with good fuel efficiency. As new Honda Amaze CVT Diesel is expected to launch soon, so I’ve considered it to wait to make a purchase. Do list any other good option too, if it fulfil my priorities. Budget is upto ₹10 lacs.

  6. Update My Dzire has now clocked 76k kms. Working pretty fine. Last service took care of any unwanted noise or worn out parts. Car now runs on all around Bridgestone B290 tyres. OEM Exide Battery is also replaced with New Amaron Battery recently. Engine is getting smoother day by day as the car clocks more miles.
  7. New Wagon R looks Good & promising as it's design seems to have grown up now with B-pillar seems to be the best part, as I feel. Which can give it better crash protection for the car for Side impact as well as for providing better body rigidity to comply with upcoming crash safety norms(As India is one of the biggest market for this car, I expect Indian requirements also went into designing this car). However for Indian market, to accommodate bigger 1.0 litre K-series engine its front styling might be altered with a bit longer bonnet section & bigger front overhang. @AMG1 I feel, L-shaped Tail-lamps can make it rear look even better.
  8. A very promising product for its new gen, as both of its Interior & exterior design has evolved but this time ita engines for India needs updates too. Let's see when Maruti Suzuki launches it here.
  9. For practicality aspect no one can beat Honda Jazz, but Test Drive it thoroughly to check & feel its driving experience, as it varies from Driver point of view. However for that aspect Baleno is better as it's Sporty, Driving oriented, but there are rumours for its 2017 mild update. So you should wait for that. Ignis on the other hand seems to be a very promising product. Check it too. Last but not the least, There's not any information on Vitara Brezza petrol yet. If you have any then do let us know too.
  10. Few days ago, Maruti Suzuki unveiled this New Ignis. However not any media drive or test drive report yet ! As its launch is just 2 days ahead. Eagerly waiting for reviews.
  11. Teaser shot on Ignis sub-section from Nexa page shows this car with DRLs & Projector headlamps. Expect high level of equipment & premium features which will not only elevate it among in-family Maruti Suzuki cars but from other rivals too. Very eagerly awaited.   12. We'll not be getting this Micra, as shown in pics above. Only we'll be getting current Micra with front & rear form like this car & updated interiors. Let's see how much of this can be carried to India-specific New Micra. More than better looks, Micra needs better Diesel engine with low NVH characteristics.

  14. As per Maruti Suzuki, it is first Indian car to comply with upcoming Crash safety norms for India, which are going to be implemented next year.
  15. Spied recently is the upcoming All new Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire 2017. Based on New Baleno hatchback platform, this all new Swift DZire to be more stylish, more wider, more spacious, lighter & better crash compliant with upcoming BNCAP crash safety norms guidelines. Body length is kept the same i.e Sub 4-metre for excise duty tax benefits & as per segment to which it belongs. Overall body profile from its side pics, indicates better more balanced looks with neatly integrated boot section & Tail-lamps area. Boot area capacity seems to be in the region of 330-380 litres. Expected to be powered by same set of 1.2 K12M VVT Petrol & Fiat-sourced 1.3 litre DDiS Diesel engines, this car is expected to get better fuel efficiency figures along with possibly mild hybrid SHVS engine tech for better drivability & better fuel efficiency. Styling & equipment are also expected to get additional elements like Projector headlamps, LED Tail-lamps externally & Touchscreen Multimedia system, Cruise control system internally for its top end variants. AMT & Manual gearboxes are also expected to be same as being offered now. Fuel efficiency is going to be major boost, expectedly 24kmpl for Petrol & 26-27kmpl for Diesel.   16. Verito was a capable car but it needs to upgrade time to time to rival with its competition which sees the maximum action in its segment. Since this segment is Alien for Mahindra, they have no expertise & dedicated R & D team for it. So they didn't much with it. But again this segment is too hard to ignore too. Once again A licensed body shell, a Frugal & refined engine backed up with good Development team can bring Mahindra back into action for this segment which came once with Mahindra Ford Escort, Mahindra Renault Logan. They're capable & understanding enough.
  17. Congratulations sachins for your New Innova Crysta 2.8 GX. Please write your ownership experience in dedicated ownership section along with detailed pics of its Interiors & other detailing. Btw, Its now have been a month with your New Innova. Please do update on its fuel efficiency, its service cost details & any Interior updates. Since this GX variant doesn't come with a music system, so do update on which system you've opted for, Dual din Touchscreen or basic one.
  18. Configured my newly installed Blaupunkt Coaxial speakers in my car with newly installed Pioneer MP3/USB/Aux/MIXTRAX Head unit. Result being better sound output with improved Bass & sound output characteristics.
  19. Why to upsize it ! 185/65 isn't a slim tyre size for Baleno. Generally lower variants of some Maruti Suzuki cars like Swift, Dhire, Vitara Brezza comes with better ride quality, reason being smaller sized rim & high profile tyres as compared to its top end version tyres. Similar thing I can expect for Baleno too, as I haven't driven its base Sigma & 2nd Delta variants. Swift & Dzire lower variants though suffers from very low road grip as they are having too slim 165 profile tyres as compared to its body dimensions. I suggest you to wait to upsize & drive your car few days or weeks till you go for upsizing the tyres. Btw, 195/60 R15 Yokohama tyres option to upgrade from 185/65 R15 tyres or Michelin tyres are the good options.
  20. This car is perfect for Indian conditions & needs. Toyota India should come up with this as early as possible with this car with 1.4 D4D Diesel & 1.2/1.5 VVTi Petrol for our market. Btw, this car is having quite similar dimensions to Etios, Toyota can localize this car & share its dashboard with Etios twins which can give them the much needed change to boost its presence & sales.
  21. Generally new product could have such mild/little issues(though not an issue actually) reason being parts will take their sweet time to settle down & to take its working seat/shape. What you can do now is to just get it's tyre pressure checked & fill tyre pressure as per car manufacturer specifications.
  22. Personally I think BR-V is a more complete vehicle & is more sorted, refined too. Whereas Ertiga is no non-sense, all time useable car with easy to find maintenance car.
  23. Latest Update: Car has clocked 67k kms by now. Service costs are increasing as the car is clocking more kms as more & more parts are getting wear & tear. Reliability is excellent along with dependability. Replaced its stock MRF ZVTV 2 tyres with Set of New Bridgetown B290 tyres. New tyres are excellent in performance with tough build, silent ride.
  24. Gypsy is too old & bit dated now for current market scenario. For that purpose, more than facelift, Jimny seems to be better option as its a better & more advanced generation version.
  25. There are ample options under this price range, varyingly suited to your choice & preferences, like based on segment, a hatchback, sedan, compact sedan, MPV or even compact SUVs. So do shortlist the segment first as per your need or the priorities what you want from your car.
