  1. @roomy: As u mentioned `I agree with the fact that the dealers are spoiling the brands reputation by trying to squeeze the owners and I think the Skoda management should have tougher controls over the functioning of them'...........we r only discussing regarding these matters and the price of Skoda.........

  2. I think Skoda is cheating Indians with Fabia......I drove Fabia and it was dissapointing.........ACI mentioned the interior is of great quality.....friends i can agree to this if it was Octavia or laura...Fabia is not at all like Octavia or Laura........The quality of plastic is cheap(like ORVM adjuster knob, door lever,AC knobs) .The back is not at all comfortable. It is so vertical and it was like sitting inside a BMTC bus in Bangalore.Very dissapointed with the product. This product is priced at 7.52 for the base classic TDi version and 8.44L for the ambient.....Please friends pls dont get cheated and stay away from this FABIA..............Its not worth for that price.

  3. endeavour is priced at 17.72(4*2) in Bangalore whereas Captiva is 21.36.I personally think the battle is going to be between CRV and Captiva.....Both are of similiar size but personally i love the looks of CRV .Ford is much larger and presence of it on road is huge when compared with Captiva and CRV.

  4. The country's second largest bike maker Bajaj Auto Ltd on Tuesday cocked a snook at those who sniggered at its efforts to get into the passenger car market.

The company silently unveiled its 'Lite' concept car in New Delhi, two days before the much hyped launch of Tata Motors' Rs 1 lakh car.

Bajaj Auto, the country's second biggest two-wheeler maker, said it plans to bring out its small car in collaboration with Renault and Nissan within four years but it will not be for Rs 1 lakh (Rs 100,000).

"I know Carlos Ghosn (President and CEO of Renault and Nissan) has set a target of 2010 for Bajaj-Renault car. While it is hard to put any time-frame, we can say in two-four years we can expect to have the product ready," Bajaj Auto managing director Rajiv Bajaj told reporters in New Delhi.

Bajaj declined to give a specific price of the small car. Ghosn has earlier stated that Renault was looking for a $3,000 car in India, a move triggered by Tata Motors' Rs 1 lakh car that will be unveiled later this week.
