  1. Spy shots: Hyundai Verna facelift

    Hyundai has just launched the Verna facelift for our market. The base 1.5 petrol-manual S variant of the Verna mid-size sedan has been priced at Rs 9.31 lakh, while the top-spec petrol version of the new Verna which has the Turbo-petrol engine is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh. The diesels are meanwhile, priced from Rs 10.66 lakh and go up to Rs 15.10 lakh for the top-spec diesel-automatic. What do you guys think of the new Hyundai Verna?   2. Suzuki Jimny ! This is the right time

    I have come across yet another modified Suzuki Jimny off-roader. The Jimny in question has been modified by 'Wald International' in Japan, with raised suspension, a lot of off-road focused equipment including new tyres and a variety cosmetic updates.     Just came across this walkaround video of the new Hyundai Verna. The video shows the exterior of the bases S trim level while the interiors appear to be of the SX variant. Let me know what you think of the new Verna below.

    I just came across some renders of what the performance-focused 'N' version of the all-new Elantra might look like. In the render, we can see more aggressive styling, larger wheels and brakes, and dual exit exhaust system.   6. Next-gen Hyundai Creta / Hyundai ix25

    The second-gen Hyundai Creta has just been launched at a price of Rs 9.99 lakh for both the base petrol and diesel variants and it is offered with five engine-gearbox options.     I came across these deals on Volkswagen BS4 Demo cars that a dealer in Mumbai is liquidating.     I came across some more images of the Suzuki Jimny, which is now slated to launch in India in 2021 and is expected to sport a sub-Rs 10 lakh price tag.   10. MG sedan for India in the works

    The Baojun RC-5 sedan is a smaller version of the Baojun RC-6 (the model on which the MG RC 6 is based on). I have attached images of the Baojun RC-5 below as well as an image comparing the design to the MG RC-6 which was showcased at the recent 2020 Auto Expo.   12. Renault Duster facelift

    Images of the Renault Duster facelift have surfaced online and they show off both the interiors and exteriors of the upcoming car. The car in these images is also void of any camouflage or body disguising panels, so we get a clear look at what the facelifted SUV looks like.   14. Toyota Raize compact SUV

    I have come across a walkaround video of the Toyota Raize finished in the Modellista Advance Blast Style package. This kit comes with a front spoiler, side and rear skirt, rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels and more. the specific version is finished in white and has gloss black elements dotted over the exterior. The interior has also been re-done in a black and red theme. What do you guys think of the special package on the Raize?

    I have come across some new images of the Russian-spec Hyundai Verna at an early showing of the refreshed sedan at one of the showrooms. The car in the pictures is not vastly different in styling from the current Verna available in India, though this can be attributed to the fact the styling has not been reworked as extensively as the China-spec model.   18. New Land Rover Defender

    Land Rover has released a video of the new Defender SUV doing a variety of insane stunts for the new James Bond movie - No Time To Die. The video shows a couple of 5-door Defenders doing off-road stunts and taking quite the battering. The last shot of the video even shows a Defender flip, land on its wheels and drive off. With the Defender is set to launch in India in the future, does this video help increase the off-roaders rugged appeal of the off-roader?

    Tata released another video if the Sierra concept EV, that showcases more details of the e-SUV. Besides the exteriors, we also get a look at the interiors of the SUV as well as some shots of the lighting available on it. What do you guys think of the Sierra concept, and would you like to see it make it to production?

    I have come across images of the updated Mahindra Roxor off-roader with the new front grille. The new grille design appears to be the same as the one shown on the Surf Woodie version of the Roxor that was shown at SEMA 2019. What are your opinions on the looks of the updated Roxor?   21. New Suzuki XL7

    Some new images of the Suzuki XL7 have surfaced online. This set of images showcase the car in much more detail, even revealing some of the interior details and features. Although it doesn't look vastly different when compared to the XL6 sold in India, its additional seating and interesting features like the display in the rear-view mirror could contribute to its appeal.   22. Maruti Suzuki has revealed the first sketch of its new concept that it will unveil at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Sketch is of the Futuro-e SUV-coupe concept, which is expected to be the same size as the Hyundai Creta.   23. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, has just made an announcement via Twitter that the popular online retail platform will roll out its fleet of all-electric delivery rickshaws in India. These rickshaws will be completely electric, will have zero carbon emissions and they will be used for the last mile delivery of products ordered via Amazon, making the delivery process that much more environmentally friendly. What do you guys think of this move to electric rickshaws?
  24. Laffite Supercars is a company that has been created by Bruno Laffite, who is the nephew of six-time Formula One race winner, Jacques Laffite. The company has introduced the new Laffite G-Tec X-Road, which is essentially an off-roader with supercar levels of performance. It uses a 720hp, 6.2-litre V8 and it sends power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The model weighs only 1,300kg and it comes equipped with specially tuned off-road suspension. Only 30 units of the G-Tec X-Road will be produced, with the company claiming an electric version of the off-roader will also be available later on.     Volkswagen is not too far away from launching the new T-Roc SUV in the Indian market. In international markets, VW has a sportier R variant on sale, which gets more aggressive exterior styling and a sportier setup when compared to the standard SUV.
