Here is a modified Mahindra Scorpio Getaway that I came across, which has been modded to accommodate an additional row of seating at the rear. The pick-up bed has been covered with a hard-top roof and the car has received additional styling tweaks including new front and rear bumpers, as well as new headlights and tail lights. The modification has been carried out by S.P Design Studio. What do you guys think of this take on the Scorpio Pick-up truck?

The additional equipment includes a new 7-inch infotainment screen from the Tiago XZ+, which features Android Auto with a 10 speaker JBL stereo system in all variants above XM. The Hexa also receives new paint options with dual tone finishes in the XT variants. The interiors of these variants now also see the addition of a chrome surround for the AC vents and infotainment screen and a black finish on the lower part of the steering wheel. The XMA and XTA variants on the updated Hexa now come with the 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels while the mid- and higher-spec manual variants – the XM, XM+, XT and XT 4x4 – get the 16-inch Charcoal Grey alloys. Mechanically the car remains unchanged, though these updates have translated in a price increase of Rs 20,000 on all the XT variants, the rest of the range remains the same. The range starts from Rs 12.99 lakh. What do you all think of the updated Hexa? More info here: https://www.autocarindia.com/car-news/refreshed-tata-hexa-launched-at-rs-1299-lakh-411710
  10. Here are some more pictures of the Kamiq's interiors. What are your opinions regarding the Kamiq as an overall package?
  11. Honda Civic. Why was it discontinued?

I just wanted to add that, Honda discontinued the Civic for multiple reasons, not only because it had poor fuel economy and was priced high (which according to what I remember, was priced very similar to its competitors). That generation of the Civic had already been replaced in the international market, long before Honda discontinued it in India. Also, the lack of a diesel powertrain option affected the model's popularity at the time. I do however believe that the pricing of the new Civic will determine just how well it will do this time around.
  12. The PSA Group has officially announced that they will be re-entering the Indian market with its Citroen brand. The first Citroen model in India is set to go on sale before the end of 2021. The Group's plan to enter our market is part of its efforts to expand to newer markets. French carmaker Citroen is known for its quirky designs and high-quality cars. The PSA group has made no announcement on the range of cars that will be launched under the Citroen brand. However, a Citroen C5 Aircross SUV was spotted testing in India recently, though it’s still unclear if the model will be a part of the carmaker’s India line-up. What do you all think about the brand's re-entry to our market? Are there any specific cars from Citroen's international line-up you would like to see? SOURCE

Here is another take on the Mahindra Bolero. The modification has been done on a Mahindra Bolero Invader, which was a three-door, short wheelbase version of the Bolero. This example has a unique three-door look that, in my opinion, harks back to the old-school Land Rover Defender's looks. The modifications have been done by SUN Enterprises. The modification a quite substantial as the original Bolero Invader's partial soft-top has been converted to a hard-top. the car also sports new wheels, new bumpers, headlights, tail lights, wheels and the interior has been completely redone with tan leather interiors and front facing rear seats. There are many more small modifications done around the car too. SOURCE

  16. The new Ford Endeavour facelift has been launched with prices for the 2.2-litre engine ranging from Rs 28.19-30.60 lakh and the 3.2-litre engine is priced at Rs 32.97 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). SOURCE
  17. Pics of Modified cars in INDIA

The modifications seem well done and this definitely looks more aggressive than the stock car. the only thing I feel looks a little out of place are the dual exhaust cutouts on the rear bumper. Though apart from that, it is a very unique look for the Marazzo.
  18. In my honest opinion, if Hyundai can equip the QXi well, then it should have no issues taking on the Maruti Vitara Brezza. Keeping in mind that Hyundai has delivered some very excellent interiors on its budget offerings. This paired with the fact that Hyundai will offer the SUV with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox should make it the go-to automatic vehicle in the segment provided its priced competitively. The engines seem to be potent enough to compete in the segment. Only time will tell how strong a package this SUV will end up being, but the way it is shaping up, I believe at the very least it will put up a strong fight.
  19. Kia Motors to debut in India soon

Kia has finally opened its first dealership in India, which is called Allied Motors and is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The dealership is a multi-story facility and it had the Kia Stinger and Rio on display at the launch event. It is worth noting that Kia is still a few months away from its entry to our markets and is hence still setting up its dealer network across the country. Kia has reportedly announced Alyson Group as its dealer principal for the cities of Kannur, Calicut, and Malappuram in the state of Kerala. Kia is going to make its entry to the Indian market with the SP2i SUV at some point later this year. Kia has already started the trial production run for the SUV last month. The SP2i will be powered by either a 1.5-litre petrol or diesel engine, paired with a choice of manual and automatic gearboxes. Also on the cards is a sportier variant of the Kia SP2i, powered by a 140hp 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. The SUV is expected to be well-equipped and will include some segment-first features such as a 360-degree camera, heads-up display, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and in-car WiFi. The Kia SP2i is expected to be priced around the Rs 10-16 lakh (ex-showroom) mark and will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, and the upcoming MG Hector. Which of Kia’s upcoming models for India are you most excited about? SOURCE
