NB10 got a reaction from VET5 in Volkswagen Polo/ Vento to get another update
Volkswagen is readying another update to its ageing Polo and Vento range in the Indian market.  This time, the refreshed Polo will not get just cosmetic tweaks, but will also see mechanical changes.
A new set of images surfaced online give us the best look at the upcoming Polo and Vento. First up, the updated cars get new front styling which is quite similar to the high-performance limited edition Volkswagen GTI hatchback. Additionally, both cars get alloy wheels with grey finish and other minor cosmetic tweaks inside out.
Under the hood, the TSI variants of the Polo and Vento will get a new BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit replacing the 1.2-litre motor and also the 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine.  The new VW 1.0-litre TSI motor is from the EA211 series and is likely to come with a 94hp as well as a 115hp version, depending on the model.  Apart from the Polo and Vento, this new engine will also see duty on the Skoda Rapid in future. This new engine will be locally assembled in India as part of the brand’s India 2.0 strategy that also includes market introduction of future models like the Volkswagen T-Cross SUV and the Virtus sedan.
While the made-for India SUVs from VW Group India (T-Cross and Skoda Kamiq) will use the 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine, the smaller 1.0-litre TSI motor will power the Volkswagen Virtus sedan that will come a little later to replace the Vento.
What are your opinions on the Volkswagen Polo/ Vento update?

NB10 got a reaction from VET5 in MG Motor to bring Maxus D90 SUV to India by Diwali 2020
The Maxus D90 looks quite promising as its proportions and overall appearance are very eye-pleasing. In this specification, I do believe the styling looks a bit over the top, but It still comes across as a handsome SUV. Also, if I'm not wrong, it trumps its competitors in terms of its dimensions. Hopefully, it comes equipped with a good engine and gearbox combination.
Hence in my personal opinion, this SUV will be a good fit and a valuable addition to MG India's line-up, though only if the pricing is competitive and the fit and finish if on par with the competition if not better.

Here is a video of a Tata Harrier with a contrast roof (dual tone scheme) and some aftermarket decals on it. The grille has also got a splash of colour and the standard alloy wheels have black accents. What do you guys think of this mod job?

NB10 got a reaction from VET5 in Production Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport SUV leaked
This Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, in all honestly looks like a mix of the Audi Q8, Bentley Betayga, and VW Touareg. In my opinion, the overall boxy shape doesn't lend itself well to a Coupe look, that's not to say it looks bad, it's just not my cup of tea. My opinion might just change if I ever get to see it in person.

The modifications seem well done and this definitely looks more aggressive than the stock car. the only thing I feel looks a little out of place are the dual exhaust cutouts on the rear bumper. Though apart from that, it is a very unique look for the Marazzo.

NB10 got a reaction from VET5 in Hyundai QXi compact SUV spied (UPDATE: Will be called 'Venue')
In my honest opinion, if Hyundai can equip the QXi well, then it should have no issues taking on the Maruti Vitara Brezza. Keeping in mind that Hyundai has delivered some very excellent interiors on its budget offerings. This paired with the fact that Hyundai will offer the SUV with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox should make it the go-to automatic vehicle in the segment provided its priced competitively. The engines seem to be potent enough to compete in the segment. Only time will tell how strong a package this SUV will end up being, but the way it is shaping up, I believe at the very least it will put up a strong fight.
