  1. Hi guys, I want to replace the horn on my bike (Suzuki Gixxer) with one of those manufactures by Bosch or any other reputed brand. Reason for this is because the horn on my bike is very weak and sounds like a scooty horn. Today I went to local markets in Bangalore (JC Road and surrounding areas) to find one, but all they had were car horns which were too powerful. Can you guys please suggest me a model which I can go for? Thanks.
  2. Hi guys, I recently bought a Suzuki Gixxer but sadly the horn on the bike is really pathetic. Sounds like it has been taken from one of their low-end scooters. Can you kindly suggest me a powerful horn from one of the other bikes on Indian roads, e.g. Pulsar, Enfield, etc., which I can put on my bike instead. Also, can I go for a dual horn setup? Thanks.
  3. Wow, thanks! This video just saved my life I have made my decision to go for the Gixxer...
  4. Hi guys, I was planning to buy the new FZ-S 2.0, but after the launch of Gixxer, I am really confused as the latter has really stood out in reviews and test-drives. Can someone guide me as to which one should I go for? Thanks.
  5. Thanks Sstar for your inputs. Yeah I am aware of the various shortcomings in HD750. What I actually wanted was an opinion on the ownership costs, i.e. how much on an average will it cost to own a HD750 apart from the petrol costs?
  6. Hi guys, I have saved around 5 lakhs of money and wanted to purchase Harley Davidson Street 750. I have some doubts regarding this. What will be the ownership costs (servicing, maintenance, etc.)? Is it worth buying this bike being a salaried professional (~12 lakhs annual income)? What are the other options (if any) that I can consider? Any kind of inputs will be helpful! Thanks in advance
  7. I guess so, by the looks of it! Couldn't find any piece of news otherwise.
  8. Hi guys, I'm posting the pics of the upcoming Lamborghini showroom in Bangalore. It is located on Vittal Mallya Rd. at the Lavelle Rd junction. It is adjacent to my office and has been under construction for over 6 months. Today only I found the branding and sign-boards on display. The interiors are also almost ready. No idea about the inauguration date! Eagerly awaiting for brand-new Lambos to come up here
  9. What a shame on the part of M&M. It is a well known fact that these Indian companies like Tata, M&M have low quality products than the global carmakers. Still they win the race because Indians prefer low price over quality. Moreover a vehicle can be a success just by its looks (as is evident with the XUV500, which otherwise has a substandard engine in its class and poor drivability). Only few people will care about such an incident and forget about it in a matter of weeks. Unless stricter laws and standards are enforced by the government, nothing positive can be done!
  10. Quite a long time now... So aren't there any test drives/reviews??
  11. All these limited edition things are cheap gimmicks, which add no monetary value to the product and the customers end up getting looted in broad daylight!
  12. Quite an informative post! Am going straightaway to check my Jazz
  13. Hi all, I have been a long time subscriber of Autocar and coming to the forum for the first time. We used to own a Daewoo Matiz, which was a great car in itself and supported us for long 10 years without any major faults. I would like to know whether anyone can tell me where I can find official test drives and reviews (if any) done by Autocar India when the car was launched? Additionally, I would also like to read the same for Cielo and Nexia, both Daewoo cars. Thanks in advance. ~ Zaib.
