  1. Mumbaikars got their first taste of Soapbox racing today. Red Bull hosted the first ever Soapbox Race in Mumbai today on the slopes of Mount Mary road at Bandra. There were some superbly wacky designed cars with everything from a Star Wars ship to a Vada Pav and Chicken Tika on wheels. The race was flagged off by Bollywood actor Imran Khan and director Vishal Bhardwaj who had come to promote their latest upcoming movie. The crowds were colourful and it was superb to see such a turn out on a Sunday morning. The winners at the end of the day was the Dabbawala Team 1st Runner up was Team Tritech and 2nd Runner up was Feni Talks Here are the pictures I took at the event . Though the racing pictures are not much I have manged to take pictures of every participant car at the Race. Enjoy

  3. Its that time of the year again. The Autocar Performance Show is back and as always bigger than before. It’'s a mecca for every car and bike lover, drawing some of the most passionate auto enthusiasts in the country. These are people who have resources, are well informed and appreciate quality. It'’s no wonder then, that brands like Audi, Jaguar, BMW, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Volvo, BMW motorcycles and Yamaha, to name a few, have camped under the Show's roof roof over the years. The Autocar Performance Show is the one place where car enthusiasts gather from all over for the one things that binds all of us in common AUTOMOBILES. And it not only that but a whole range of accessories from alloy wheels to in car entertainment and car care. So save the dates. From the 1st to the 4th of November 2012. It will a high revving 4 days for sure. See you there.

  6. Mclaren has finally released first pictures of its upcoming Super car the Mclaren P1 and will be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motorshow. This is the successor to the mighty F1 for sure. Here is what the Mclaren Facebook page says The wait is over – we are thrilled to officially announce that McLaren Automotive will be using the Paris Motor Show 2012 to preview our next generation ultimate supercar, the McLaren P1. Along with today’s release of the first ever photo graphs of our latest supercar, McLaren Automotive Managing Director Antony Sherriff, laid out his vision for the McLaren P1 “To make the most exciting, most capable, most technologically advanced and most dynamically accomplished supercar ever made - not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit.” McLaren Automotive Executive Chairman Ron Dennis also hinted that The McLaren P1 is set to draw technological and spiritual inspiration from our Formula 1™ team – ‘The McLaren P1 will be the result of 50 years of racing and road car heritage,’ More details will be released on Thursday 27 September 2012 in Paris and we will be bringing you extensive coverage from the show, so be sure to check back regularly for all the latest news and exclusive content.
