  1. The Solio is a typical Japanese hatchback and is quite boxy looking. The lines of the car are straight and clearly this is a car built for practicality rather than style. The interiors are a surprise as they look luxurious and well-appointed. The Solio is loaded with features and gizmos. But the best part of the Solio is the sliding doors. The space on offer is very good despite its compact dimensions. A 50:50 rear split seat also brings in flexibility. Under the hood you will find a 1.2 litre K-Series engine and this compact car will do some pretty good numbers. The engine makes 91 bhp and the performance is good as the car is pretty light. The handling and ride would be good as well. But thanks to the compact size parking would be a breeze with the Solio as would be negotiating city traffic. The Solio is bigger than its predecessor and is luxurious and powerful. The Wagon R of today hinges more on practicality but the Solio has more style despite being boxy and with innovative features like sliding doors it surely will catch the fancy of the Indian buyer.
