I’ve been looking to buy an e-scooter for a few months now. I’ve heard of Ather, Hero, Bajaj, Ampere and a number of other models but I’m not sure which one I should buy. If anyone has any advice or recommendations please let me know below.

Ampere’s e-scooter Zeal which was launched earlier this year, is priced at 66,949 (ex-Amazon). The scooter comes with a 60 V/ 30 Ah lithium ion removable battery. The Zeal has a commendable range of 75 kms per charge. The scooter takes an average of 5 to 6 hours to be fully charged. Ampere’s Zeal is over 30 kgs lighter than the average scooter, it can also accelerate from 0 to 50 kmph in 6 seconds. The scooter comes with a cap speed of 55 kmph. Zeal is is equipped with an advanced regenerative controller with EBS and a Harmonic Braking System (HBS). The scooter is available in four colours, cherry red, ocean blue, pearl white and black. Ampere also offers a two year warranty on the lithium ion battery. The scooter is powerful and fast, definitely one of the front runners in e-mobility movement.
