Baleno RS was first introduced in the Geneva Motor show back in 2015. The Standard Baleno was launched at the time when Indian buyers were taking their interest toward the premium hatchback class. Maruti has sold more than 1,40,000 units of Baleno all over India. In India, the car will battle against Volkswagen polo GT TSI and Fiat Abarth Punto. The car is available only in the Top Alpha Trim. Baleno Rs is powered by a 1.0-liter booster jet turbocharged petrol which was introduced in 2015 at global spec. The original engine produces 110 bhp and 175 Nm of torque but for Indian Standard, it is tuned to give an output of 101 bhp and 150 Nm torque. Another big mechanical update is the addition of the rear disc brakes for better handling. Baleno RS is the First ever Maruti product to receive the new 1.0 Booster Jet Petrol engine. It is a three-cylinder, turbocharged motor which has been specially tuned for India. The Beast is capable of giving an output of 101 Bhp at 5500 rpm and Torque of 150 Nm at 1700 - 4500 rpm. It is the most powerful hatchback ever introduced by Maruti in India. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Exterior:- The Easiest way to differentiate between Baleno and Baleno RS is to take your eye around the car and look upon the new upgrades. The car gets a Slightly bigger spoiler as compared to the standard car to give it a more sporty look. Redesign front and rear bumpers are much larger and more aggressive. Moreover, Maruti has introduced a new set of black shade alloy wheels which makes the car more sharper. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Interior:- Just like the exterior, Maruti has put many efforts to give the car a sporty feel and a more aggressive look. Seats are fitted with new upholstery and the steering wheel is wrapped in premium leather. The re-style instrument cluster and introduction of the new Smart-Play Infotainment System with 7 inch Touch Screen which includes features like Mp-3/FM support, USB and AUX-in, Bluetooth and voice command provide more comfort from the regular model. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Competition:- Although there are no such direct rivals for the Baleno Rs in India it will compete against the following cars:-.
