1. I have been in love with the Mercedes Benz since childhood and have waited all my life to get a hands on its steering wheel. Seeing someone taking me on a drive through a video tour is a true fantasy unless I get to drive it myself. Here is my favourite video online featuring the Mercedes Benz E-Class (E220d) and detailing its performance in multiple terrains: Share your comments and let me know if I should dream of some other car too. Cheers to rich life!
2. Hi, Im new to this forum. Seeking advice on buying a luxury sedan around the 50 lac range. Already own the new honda city and fabia, now looking for a replacement for my ford endeavour. 3. Hi Friends I hope everything is well with all of you. My father is looking to buy an new car. A family acquaintance has an E class. Model: 2010. it is an E250 Diesel (white color). (it is the new look one, one with squared lights). I am not sure about the trim. The car has done 60,000 Kms. He wanted to sell it off for 25-26 lacs, but being a family friend he can give it to us for 23-24 lacs. So what do u suggest, pass or not to pass? The car will be self driven, me or dad. No accidental damage was visible as dad said (Good condition, not Mint of course) , I havnt checked out the car myself. So should we proceed or not with more details, I am basically worried about GERMAN Maintenance. Thanks.
4. The facelift 2014 Mercedes E Class has been spotted on Pune streets. It is also said in the source that the ARAI has given the homologation certificate that means that the car can be launched in India. The car seen in the pictures is the E250 CDI so that could be the first model to launch. The car also seems to be the Avantgarde since the three pointed star is on the grille. Could the launch be around the corner? The word is that June 25th is said to be the launch date. Mercedes anyways has planned an onslaught of new models this year Here are the pics Source: Team BHP
5. Are you unhappy with yor vehicle? Are you tiered of poor after sale service of your vehicle? Isn't your vehicle's service people, dealer or manufacturer aren't listening your complents? Do you have enough time, faith & courage to go to the Consumer Court? Look no further, in this thread you will get some coolest ideas on planet to treat with them! Drive your car with help of Donky-Power! {use of Bull-Power, Dog-Power or Human-Power are also permitted; but don't use horse-power! (from the engine of your car)} In India, donkeys are still used as a form of animal labor. They are used for many kinds of labor, carrying items like sand & bricks, threshing, ploughing land, raising water, and much more. So when one sees donkeys on road pulling or carrying items, its business as usual. But, when the city of Vadodara, Gujarat, saw six donkeys pulling a Mercedes Benz E Class, everybody took notice. Frustrated with poor after sales, Kumud Patel decided to take matter in his own hands when his year and a half old Mercedes Benz E350 worth Rs 60 lakhs, was not fixed by authorized dealer over repeated attempts. Mr Patel made 6 donkeys drag his E Class around the city, in an attempt to vent his frustration. Kumud, a local businessman, bought the E350 back in July 2011 along with Mercedes Benz Road Side Assistance Program. According to Kumud, problems with his new E Class started in Sep 2011. Ever since he has been trying to fix his car, but every time he gets his car fixed, a new fault appears. his car is still not fixed and has problems in two of the wheels. Tired of calling and visiting local Mercedes Benz showroom many times, Mukud decided to take his car out for a drive, with the help of six donkeys. No one is still not sure why Kumud has scripted 'Just Think' over his Mercedes Benz E350, if you have an answer, please leave your answers below. (UPDATE - when media cotacted Mercedes Benz India on the issue here, the first thing they said is that the name of the owner is not Kumud Patel, but Rakesh Patel. Below is a reply from their spokesperson. "Mr. Rakesh Patel from Baroda is owner of a Mercedes-Benz E-Class 350 CDI and purchased the vehicle on 30-July, 2012 from Benchmark Cars, Ahmedabad." "Two tyres of his car has undergone damage due to external impact . Damages to the tyres due to external impact are not covered under the tyre manufacturer's obligation as well as Car manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions. " "Inspite of these, when Benchmark Cars learnt of the tyres issue, they offered to replace all the four tyres as a good will gesture to a valued customer." "Mr. Rakesh Patel has however, refused the offer and insists on replacement of the entire car. The act by Mr. Patel to try and grab attention is being reviewed from this perspective.") Similar stratergy was earlier used by a chinese customer of Range Rover in China. Hammer down your vehicle in middle of city (This one is very harmfull technique & to be used in extreme condition & in presence of large media crowd! Let me introduce you to one of the most stylish guys to live on the face of this earth today, Mr Han. A Chinese millionaire businessman, Mr Han bought a £465,000 LamborghiniGallardo (pronounced – Ga-aa-ar-do) supercar late last year. Soon, he started facing problems with the car. The brand new Lamborghini would just stall due to unknown reasons, quite an embarrassment after paying almost half a million pounds. Mr Han, got his car serviced at an authorized Lamborghini outlet in China where according to Mr Han due to negligence, the chassis and bumper of the supercar were damaged. But the stalling problem was still there, so Mr Han wrote to Lamborghini CEO, Mr Winkelmann and described the problem he was facing due to an incompetent car. Mr Han did not receive any appropriate response from Mr Winkelmann, so he contacted Lamborghini Asia-Pacific manager, who too did not show much interest in Mr Han's problems. So, on the 15th March, Mr Han finally gave up requesting and decided to teach the arrogant Italian maker a lesson. He hired some workers and asked them to destroy his Lamborghini Gallardo in front of public and media.
