  1. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, has just made an announcement via Twitter that the popular online retail platform will roll out its fleet of all-electric delivery rickshaws in India. These rickshaws will be completely electric, will have zero carbon emissions and they will be used for the last mile delivery of products ordered via Amazon, making the delivery process that much more environmentally friendly. What do you guys think of this move to electric rickshaws?
  2. I just came across a video of the Tesla Cybertruck, all-electric pick-up truck driving down what appears to be a freeway in LA. The Cybertruck has generated a lot of buzz around itself as it is Tesla's first pick-up truck and it is a major departure from the brand's current design language.   3. Mahindra's showcase their new hardtop convertible concept centred around playfulness, the Funster, at Auto Expo 2020. The All Wheel Drive EV concept has dual motors putting out a combined 230 kW of power, which propel the Funster from 0-100 in 5 seconds, and on to a top speed of 200 kph, and give the car a range of 520 km from a full charge.     MG eZS

  5. Ampere’s e-scooter Zeal which was launched earlier this year, is priced at 66,949 (ex-Amazon). The scooter comes with a 60 V/ 30 Ah lithium ion removable battery. The Zeal has a commendable range of 75 kms per charge. The scooter takes an average of 5 to 6 hours to be fully charged. Ampere’s Zeal is over 30 kgs lighter than the average scooter, it can also accelerate from 0 to 50 kmph in 6 seconds. The scooter comes with a cap speed of 55 kmph. Zeal is is equipped with an advanced regenerative controller with EBS and a Harmonic Braking System (HBS). The scooter is available in four colours, cherry red, ocean blue, pearl white and black. Ampere also offers a two year warranty on the lithium ion battery. The scooter is powerful and fast, definitely one of the front runners in e-mobility movement.

  7. Revolt Motors has just revealed its first electric bike for India, the RV 400. You can pre-book the bike on Amazon for an amount of Rs 1,000. The bikes will only be available in Delhi, followed by NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the next four months and deliveries are expected to begin in July 2019. The bike also has a limited top sped of 85kph and a claimed range of 156Km. What do you guys think of this new electric bike?
