  1. The Kia Carens three-row SUV has already been unveiled by the Korean carmaker, ahead of its launch in our market. I have now got images of a near-production spec Kia Carens undisguised and testing on Indian roads. The Kia Carens will get two seating configurations, plenty of tech and three engine options. With the new Kia set to go on sale early next year, we can expect more sightings in the coming weeks. You can find out more about the Kia Carens here - 2021 Kia Carens launch date, expected price, interior, exterior and more | Autocar India
  2. Found this walkaround of the new 2022 Kia Sportage SUV. This fifth-gen model has been completely overhauled, inside and out, and shares its underpinning with the latest-gen Hyundai Tucson. Will also include a long features list, soft-touch switches and a new curved digital display. You can head here for more info:
  3. Looks like the 2021 model year Sonet, sporting Kia's brand new logo, has started arriving at dealer yards in India. This is proven thanks to the spy shots being circulated via Whatsapp. What are your thoughts on the brand new Kia logo?
  4. Kia's unveiled the brand new 3-row version of the Sonet, which will be only made available for the Indonesian market. Al though the car is built & manufactured for export in India, there are no plans for it to be released in our market.
  5. GS9

    Kia Sonet

Kia has taken the wraps off its Sonet compact SUV concept. It previews a production-spec, sub-four-metre SUV that will join Kia’s line-up around August and shares its underpinnings with its distant cousin from Hyundai, the Venue. Head here for more info:
  6. The Sonet has started reaching dealerships ahead of its launch later in the month. Here are some images of a display car at a dealership. It's the GTX+ variant finished in the single-tone Beige Gold.
  7. Found some pretty cool renderings showing what the new Bronco could look like..
  8. Here are some spyshots of mid-spec - Kia Sonet Tech Line, with close to no camouflage on it. These images show of the many elements of the mid-spec's exterior, like the different front grille surround, headlights, taillights and the lack of rear windshield washer and wiper. The Kia Sonet is set to be launched in our market in September. Are you guys excited for the launch of the new model in the compact-SUV segment and what do you think of the Kia Sonet? You can read more here -
  9. The facelift for the Kia Picanto (or Morning as it is known in some markets) has just been revealed. The Picanto is the sister car to the previous-gen Hyundai i10 sold in the international market (not to be confused with the India-spec Grand i10, which had different engines and was a bit larger). This update has brought with it some design changes mainly on the front and rear bumpers as well as headlights and taillights. What do you guys think of the hatchback and do you think it would make for a good addition to the brand's India line-up? Read more -
  10. The 2020 Auto-expo was filled with new concepts and future models from different manufacturers but here are my top picks. 11. I am going to upgrade my 2012 Honda City. The usage of this car will be mostly city use with less than 10 thousand kms a year. I am concerned about safety, cost of ownership (mileage, servicing, spare parts etc) and comfort. I reside in Mumbai. While I have been waiting for the Seltos, I was recently offered a pre owned, hardly driven (less than 10,000 kms) 2018 Audi Q3 TFSI for around 24/25 lakhs. I have never experienced either of the brands before but have heard mixed reviews about Audi's after sales service and service costs. What is your opinion - which would be a better buy?
  12. Spotted Kia Optima (Made in Korea) at Cybercity,Gurugram in early February. Even though at present Kia committed to launch only New Sportage ( SP Concept) Kia should consider to bring Rio Hatch Back and Optima to India. Kia Optima:- In India Kia Optima has introduced in the year 2000 and the outgoing car is 6th Generation. Kia Optima is positioned in 4.5M + Segment where in India Toyota Innova Crysta is a disputed king and selling 7K-8K/Month.Toyota holding 60 % of Market in this segment and nearest competitor is Mahindra with 20 % Market share credit goes to XUV 5oo. The Global model of Kia Optima coming with 1.6L,2.0L & 2.4L.Transmission options are 6 Auto Speed and 7 Speed Auto Dual Clutch. Kia Optima have length of 4850 mm,Width 1860 mm, Height 1470 mm and Wheel Base of 2805 mm. The Car spotted in Gurugram is 2.0 L 6 Speed Auto Transmission GLS Model which have amazing build quality and finest interiors compare to its sibling Hyundai Elantra which have just 3 % Market share in 4.5M + Passenger car Segment. In fact the the Market share of Sedans in this Segment has reduced 27 % in 2011 to mere 8 % in 2017. Other side MUV share has increased from 44 % to 55 % and SUV Share has increased from 24 % to 37 % . In case Kia have plan to introduce Optima in Indian Market they should bring the Hybrid variant after Govt introduce tax exemptions for pure Hybrid cars. At this moment the Skoda Octavia is Sedan king in 4.5+M Segment and they are able to sell only 225/Month. Even in Globally Kia Optima sales has come down in 2017 compare to 2016. End of the Kia Cars are superior in quality and it can impress Indian buyers if they price it aggressively.
