  1. The Parx Super Car Show kicked off this morning at the Polo Grounds, Race Course in Mumbai. The show is spread over two days. Today is the static display of cars while tomorrow there will a parade of the cars driving through the city. Should be a great show since its a long weekend for most people. Crowds are sure to throng the venue to get a glimpse of their favourite machines. Everything find a place here right from Italian exotics to German beauties. There are a total of 4 Aventadors including the Roadster and the special highlight of the show is the Y2K bike which runs on a turbine engine. Audi has displayed the new R8 as well. It has to be heard to be believed. Also on display were Gautam Singhania's Drift cars and his Ferrari 458 Challenge Track car. I got there early morning to get some pictures before it gets packed. 2. Laffite Supercars is a company that has been created by Bruno Laffite, who is the nephew of six-time Formula One race winner, Jacques Laffite. The company has introduced the new Laffite G-Tec X-Road, which is essentially an off-roader with supercar levels of performance. It uses a 720hp, 6.2-litre V8 and it sends power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The model weighs only 1,300kg and it comes equipped with specially tuned off-road suspension. Only 30 units of the G-Tec X-Road will be produced, with the company claiming an electric version of the off-roader will also be available later on. What do you guys think of this crazy off-road supercar? Image source
