It looks like Xover to me. wheelbase seems small., from side the c piller is very much like Xover. and also Grille reminds me Xover. romeo_159 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2008 It won't surprise me if Tata replaces Safari with Xover.....as the name suggests t would be a soft roader aka CRV and the likes and as we all know it is this kind of vehicles whch is actually selling more in India (how many Pajeros have you seen on the road?). Also, Ratan Tata a couple of years had mentioned that the next gen safari would be smaller and would be a better overall package. Also, a new "SUV" on this platform was originally due for launch in 2007 but was later pushed to 2008. So probably we can see this early next year :-). So this would really hot up the sub-10 lakh UV segment... Can't wait for this one . All said and done.... how do we know this IS the new Safari?
