1)First of all we want to replace the pathetic seats with better and comfy one which will have headrests.

2)Then we are replacing the puny 155/80T R13 tyres with 185/60 R14 tyres and also buying two pairs of alloys of 14inch.

3)There is a housing for fog lamp in bumper, is it possible to fit in the fogs their?

4)Then the stering is patethic too, we are thinking to replace it Alto K10 one, a guy in Kolkata has done it with his Eeco. Is it advicible? The link http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/ownership-reviews/7035-maruti-eeco-my-familys-car-buying-ownership-review-4.html

1. As the engine is under its seats, its doubtful that it can be replaced from any other car. Though you can get them re-bolstered with good quality seat covers.

2. 185 will be too wide for Eeco, i suggest 165 or 175 to be a sensible upgrade.

3. Yes you can go for fog-lamps in the housing provided but make sure you don't get any wires of car's electrical system spliced & cut while their installation as it can void the warranty of your car.

4. Yes you can get the steering wheel from alto k10 fitted but do check the diameter of the outer ring of the steering wheel. It would be better if you can get the new steering wheel with identical diameter as previous one. I think the alto k10 steering wheel is a bit larger in dia so you can also check the steering wheel of new alto 800/estilo. It's also attractive & good to hold with silver recesses in it.

5. Probably yes, but i advice you to go for MGA security system only. If the latter isn't available then you can opt for after market ones but again keep take care of cutting & splicing of wires.

All the fittings and accessories can be done in 1 day in a good aftermarket place like Sion koliwada/ Opera House for seats one can add more form to the existing seat by removing the OE cover and intstalling custom made ones. You can easily go for Versa power window units as both vehicles are same. For tyres I advice you to get 14 inch steel rims (which can be exchanged with your 13 inch rims) and get 175/65R14 tyres which are available in the market. For steering wheel try to get the non-blue eyes WagonR ones :D !

Congrats on new car firstly. :)

1. Rightly said by Nishu, because of engine placement, front seats can not be changed, but can be cushioned up. However you can replace the rear seat with a good after market one. Even Versa rear seats were having extendable headrest so i think you will be able to sort this matter with an effort.

2. Go for 175, that is just fine.

3. Yes, you can get MGA fog lamps in the housing provided in the front bumper. Please make sure that if you get it fitted by an outsider then no wires should be cut. Otherwise, MS dealer would be my choice as 95% they know it what they should and should not do.

4. I think you are talking about changing the wheel and not the complete steering system itself. In that case, yes you can but make sure the wheel size is same as the OEM Supplied.

5. Yes, you can get it installed as MGA. It will cost you somewhere 5500 Rs. for Front PW and 3500 Rs. for Autocop MGA remote central locking.

I don't think you can find rear headrest try to visit a fabricator to see if he can fit one from other car to this. Versa was a slow selling model so don't expect to find such parts easily.

You are very right rssh. Just visited Naveent Maruti Thane, they aint got Versa seats, they are ready to order it but the seats are made for 7 seater Versa so the third seat of the middle row would be collapsible.

Thanks a lot Sstar, the dealer quoted me 7500 for one touch power windows with fitting.
