Vagabong
spotted the Accord in Thailand and since almost everything that Honda does for India, starts in Thailand, I am wondering when this will come to India.. with the slew of new launches in the pipeline, is this also expected in 2014?? Shashank_GTO
WOW!!! Awesome pics!! Day time running LEDs & LED Tail lights look good! Overall design is very good but a little bit on the conservative side. I like it never the less. Yes.. Well, expect this car to be launched in (or around) November 2014! cars4life
Nice catch. I quite like those DRLs. The tail lights do look a bit Korean to me but overall its a good looking car for sure. Yes Im sure Honda will launch the new Accord in India next year and they should look at getting a diesel.
sachins
I don't think Honda has any plans to get new Accord to India. They already have their plates full with new City, Jazz, Mobilio and compact SUV getting launched in 2104-15. Anyway without diesel option, i don't think it will make any major difference in sales volume of current Accord. BTW, the rear tail light cluster is very similar to newly unveiled City. AMG1
Honda will bring this car to India and I wont be surprised to see this showcased at the Auto Expo. I like this design as compared to the current one sold in India. This one looks more sporty. Would love to see Honda bring in a V6 Accord with a manual gearbox for India. Agreed sales will be slow, but this is Honda's Halo car for India these days. But yes these cars do sell in low numbers, look at the all-new CR-V, many seen in Mumbai these days. rssh
IMO Honda won't launch V6 in India just look at the many advertizement of the 3.5lt V6 on classified no one is buying any V6's inspite of pricing them lesser than the same 2.4lt counterparts, heck no one is buying the 2.4lt engine itself due to poor FE (even by segment std the 1.8Tsi is more efficient)

VET5
Honda recently revealed the ASEAN-spec, tenth-gen Accord and a lot of design cues are shared with the Accord that has been on sale in North America. It follows Honda’s latest design language with an upright grille with a thick band of chrome running between the headlamps, a large central air-dam with an LED fog-lamps inset in the front bumper vents. The boot features an integrated spoiler element along with C-shaped tail-lamps. Inside, the cabin of the ASEAN Accord is nearly identical to the US-spec model’s, though in right-hand drive format. Under the hood, the new Accord features two engine options for now – a 190hp/243Nm, 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder unit (seen on the Civic in international markets) and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit that works in conjunction with a pair of electric motors in the Accord Hybrid. Total system output for the hybrid is rated at 215hp. The car's currently on display at the Bangkok International Motor Show. Found this walkaround from the show, giving a detailed look: At the moment, there is no news when the new tenth-gen Honda Accord is expected to make its way to India. The ninth-gen model in exclusively hybrid form is currently on in India at Rs 43.21 lakh, and is a CBU import.
