fixing up an old car

I bought a preowned 2008 Wagon-R Vxi on 14th November & since then I have been getting a few issues fixed. While most of the important issues are resolved, I have a couple of things I have wondering about. Firstly, there is a hole in the passenger side rear wheel arch liner- you know, on the inside of the wheel arch where it meets the door sill. It's not operational problem but given I can see the body work from the arch side, I am concerned it will cause the bodywork to corrode in the longrun. Secondly, I have wipers that are damaged & an immobiliser that the mechanic disconnected because it doesn't seem to work. I was considering getting Hella wipers but my mechanic suggested I should wait till the next monsoon. Also my car came without bumper and side rubber rubbing strips. Should I worry about these issues?
