dr_nishu
These are the prices of City petrol/diesel Vx models. VX MT Petrol : Rs. 1,037,000 VXMT Diesel : Rs. 1,156,500 So the difference is certainly more than 3 lacs, depends on the variant to variant comparison though. Though the prices of Jazz is certainly better than what Honda managed last time with it but I somehow feel it's still a bit over priced w.r.t i20 (specially diesel since i20 diesel is superior to Jazz's one). Don't just compare the variants on alphabetical terms. There is specification difference between City & Jazz to justify the premium, as City VX(P&D) gets Electric Sunroof, Leather upholstery & Push-button start-stop feature whereas all these are absent in top-end Jazz VX. BTW, IMHO Honda 1.5 i-DTEC engine is superior than Hyundai 1.4 Diesel engine powering i20 CRDi atleast in Reliability & fuel-efficiency terms. Comparing overall package I think it will be too early to comment on which is best out of either of these two.

Well it depends on an individual, for me Hyundai diesel is far for refined than noisy Honda diesel engine.
AMG1
So the Jazz Cross has been dubbed the WR-V. Co-incidentally pics of the producition car leaked simultaneously in India and in South America. I have a feeling this will dethrone the i20 Active, the only cross-hatch that actually seen on the roads as compared to other cross-hatches. Let the pics do the talking >> Source
vikky1971
I don't think Honda can dethrone Maruti or Hyundai in any segment, thanks to their service centre's unaccountability towards their customers.

BonFre
Not long ago Honda was known for cutting edge technology & designs. Jazz was one of its models in which it showcased latest developments. The one above just looks like streamlining the previous model. May not work well!
VET5
Honda has started testing the next-gen Jazz. The few details that have emerged online claim that the new Jazz will be 3,990mm in length, which means it will qualify for the excise benefits just like the current model. Honda will, however, increase the car’s width in order to facilitate more room in the cabin and boot. Under the hood, there are talks of Honda introducing a two-motor hybrid setup, similar to the one in the latest-gen Accord. There will also be conventional engines on offer along with an inclusion of the 1.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder motor that does duty in the Civic hatchback sold internationally. VET5
The next-gen Jazz has been leaked online ahead of its official debut at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show! It still retains some its predecessor's basic design cues, with the mono-volume, almost MPV-like profile, and a rising window-line with a prominent kink at the start of the front door. Spy pics indicate that inside, it will get a touchscreen sitting atop the centre console, a digital instrument cluster, and revised control surfaces. The cabin is also expected to be up on space and comfort, as compared to the current model. VET5
Revealed! Honda unveiled the fourth-gen Jazz at the 2019 Tokyo motor show. Some of the most prominent changes are the new bluff nose and the split A-pillars that are designed to increase forward visibility. The new model also features more curved lines and redesigned lights, bumpers and bonnet. The Jazz is the first of the brand's cars to get the new Honda Connect on-board connectivity suite that allows users to control the climate control system remotely, check the location of the parked car and more. The model debuts what Honda claims is a new electrification technology though the setup is similar to the dual-motor hybrid system that helps power the Honda CR-V hybrid that is sold abroad. However, it has been downsized for application in the smaller hatchback. Interestingly, the next-gen City is expected to share its interior with the new Jazz. What do you think of it?
