Hi,

I recently bought a VW Polo 1.2 MPI Highline plus. According to the brochure my model should have and infotainment system with  App connect ( for apple carplay, android auto ). But i soon realised that my car does not have app connect and I have to pay 28000 extra. No where in the brochure was it mentioned that the feature is optional. In fact its still like that on website. And I was not even informed about this additional cost or the fact that its an optional accessory by the sales guy at dealership. I felt that I have been fooled. This is not expected from one of the world's largest car manufacturers. It clearly sends out the message that VW does not take its Indian customers seriously. I now cannot trust the brand and will have to double check everything before making any payments. Its sad as they make great cars and don't compromise on quality and safety. Wish they would be more transparent and not cheat there customers like this. I would request Autocar to publish this complaint in their magzines so that all the VW polo buyers and owners become aware of whats going on. I have also attached their current specifications page on their website.
