sgiitk 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 OBD today essentially involves the use of the CAN bus, as that is the de facto standard. . I know for sure that the Swift uses the CAN bus. Also, all Beemers have on board diagnostics. In fact the service interval is determined by the system based on the usage pattern.Vehicle with a on board computer system (CAN or otherwise) will often have diagnostic data stored but not necessarily displayed.
