VET5 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2018 Here's the new Harrier revealed in full! The Harrier shares its transversely-mounted 2.0-litre diesel engine and 6-speed manual gearbox with the Jeep Compass. However, in the Harrier, this motor will make 140hp and 350Nm compared to the Compass’ 173hp/350Nm powerplant. At launch, this will be the only powertrain option. It will be available in 5 colour options - Calisto Copper, Thermisto Gold, Ariel Silver, Telesto Grey and Orcus white When it comes to features, the Harrier gets a unique twin screen setup - an 8.8 inch infotainment display and 7.0-inch digital MID will share info with each other. Both screens will be able to display information such as turn-by-turn navigation, music and other infotainment data. VET5 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2019 Tata Motors has finally launched the Harrier at a starting price of Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Here's the complete price break-up: As far as features are concerned, the range-topping Harrier XZ comes loaded with equipment such as an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7.0-inch screen for the part-digital instrument cluster, a JBL sound system, leather upholstery, reverse camera, automatic headlights and wipers, automatic climate control and cruise control. Also part of the package are six airbags, ABS with EBD, a hill-hold and descent function, corner stability control and a rollover mitigation system. Powering the Harrier is a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 140hp and 350Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox that transfers the power to the front wheels. A Hyundai-sourced automatic gearbox and a petrol engine will join the line-up at a later stage. This is how it stacks up against its rivals on the pricing front You can head here for more info: https://www.autocarindia.com/car-news/2019-tata-harrier-price-variants-explained-411195 Here are some highlights from the launch event

VET5 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2019 Now that's something I haven't seen before... A Harrier with a contrast roof. Apparently its a dealer level mod that costs Rs 40,000. Source
NB10 7 Report post Posted April 11, 2019 First walkaround I’ve come across for the XM variant of the Harrier… The XE base variant misses out on several key features, so at a premium over just over 1 lakh, the XM variant definitely seems like the more sensible buy since it comes equipped with kit like front fog lamps, rear wiper/washer, electric mirror adjustment, remote central locking and driving modes – Eco, City, Sport. There’s also the 7.0-inch touchscreen with six speakers and steering-mounted controls.

VET5 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2019 Seen a lot of people complaining about the lack of a sunroof on the Harrier... looks like someone's finally gone ahead and got their Harrier fitted with an aftermarket sunroof! Overall, the sunroof + installation charges tallied up to Rs 25,000 Source
NB10 7 Report post Posted July 8, 2019 Looks like the dual-tone Harrier has started reaching dealerships. Available only with the top-spec XZ trim, the Tata Harrier Dual Tone costs Rs 20,000 more than the standard mono-tone versions and there are two options to choose from, Calisto Copper with a black roof, and Orcus White with a black roof. Found this walkaround:
VET5 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2019 According to Autocar India, an all-black version of the Tata Harrier will be launched in August. This particular variant sports a glossy-black paint job, blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels. Even the skid plate at the front and matte-silver element on the rear bumper have been blacked out.; the chrome finish on the window line, however, remains. The interior is all-black too. The images show the step-by-step procedure of getting a sunroof fitted, from the marking to the cutting of the roof and headliner. What do you guys think of the modification? Would you get it done or wait for Tata to offer it from the factory? IMAGE SOURCE Edited August 23, 2019 by NB10
NB10 7 Report post Posted August 28, 2019 Tata is now officially offering a sunroof as an accessory for the Harrier SUV. The sunroof can be fitted by Tata dealers for a sum of Rs 95,100, plus installation charges. The electric sunroof for the Harrier, the H-300 is manufactured by Webasto and it can be equipped by existing Harrier customers, via Tata dealerships. librankur 39 Report post Posted August 28, 2019 How many of you will like to see you beloved go under the knife in front of your eyes. These modification should have been accomplished at the factory stage. Also sunroof is a useless addition personally a better thing would have been adding a moon roof . Also I could never get past the hideous front bumper headlamp cluster with its different set of high and low beam outputs. Make the front more flashy and sell more units because just the Land Rover inheritance isn't taking you anywhere. Its sad to see more lesser mortal (chinese) on road than this potential immortal. VET5 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2019 Tata's launched the Harrier Dark Edition with prices starting at Rs 16.76 lakh for the top-spec XZ variant (ex-showroom, Delhi), which means the price is identical to that of the Dual Tone versions. It features an all-black exterior with a new Atlas Black exterior paint shade, darkened bits – such as the black-finished faux skid plates and grey headlamp inserts – and black finished 17-inch alloy wheels + it wears a special badge on the front fender with the word ‘#Dark’. It gets an all-black cabin as well.
