Recommended Posts

Hyundai's new Palisade SUV - the carmakers biggest SUV yet - was recently revealed via a leaked image ahead of its official reveal on November 28 at the LA motor show! Now some new spy pics have emerged from a commercial shoot:

The over-five-metre-long Palisade closely follows the styling of the HDC-2 Grandmaster concept. There's generous use of chrome – on the grille, bumper and window line. You can find more info HERE

Now the interior of the new Palisade has been leaked! Looks pretty premium. Spy pics show that the SUV will get a 4 button gear selector and Drive Terrain selector with options including “Eco, “Sport”, or the new “Snow Mode”.

Hyundai has finally revealed the new Palisade! The SUV is powered by a 3.8-lite petrol V6 making 291hp and 355Nm; an 8-speed automatic is standard and an AWD option is available too. Safety features on offer include nclude Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go.

Inside, there's a 10.25-inch TFT infotainment screen. A one-touch button  slides and flips the second row seat forward to ease access to the last row and the third row is power adjustable too.

Some more images of the new Palisade! Expected to go on sale in the US in 2020, it will be available as an eight-seater with three rows of seating or as a seven-seater with ventilated captain seats in the second row, instead of a bench.

Features on the SUV include wireless charging, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, and the possibility to hook up two devices through Bluetooth at the same time – one for mobile phone connection and the other for audio streaming.  It also has a head-up display, an intercom system, adaptive cruise control and a host of USB charging points dotted around the cabin. Hyundai claims that the roof-mounted AC vents provide a first-in-class diffused airflow, which can be set at partial or fully diffused.

Hyundai released these renders of a sportier N derivative of the Palisade as part of an April Fools joke... But it oddly works. Think Hyundai should actually produce this?

Hyundai has just launched a new top-level Calligraphy trim of the Palisade in South Korea. It's pretty similar to the Limited  trim sold in the US, but it gets a few additions like new alloy wheels from the HDC-2 concept, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel + some more exterior design changes and material upgrades for the interior.
