New Ford Puma SUV

Recommended Posts

Ford will revive the Puma nameplate for its new SUV, which is based on the Fiesta-hatchback. It's expected to slot between the EcoSport and the recently revealed Kuga in Ford's global line-up. Based on the teaser, the Puma will be a sportier, more style-oriented model than the EcoSport, and will feature design cues that make it look more like the latest Fiesta and Focus, rather than a boxy SUV.

Came across these renders showing what it could look like... the render doesn't sport the bug eye headlights that can be seen in the teaser, but the rest of it looks pretty accurate!

Here's the teaser for reference. You can head here for more info:

Ford recently revealed the Puma crossover! It's powered a 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol coupled with a 48V mild-hybrid setup. This engine is available in two states of tune – 123hp and 152hp.  Both versions get a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. A 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual gearbox will also be offered.

Inside, the Puma is fitted with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that can be customised and a central infotainment system with Ford SYNC 3 offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features on offer include a 10-speaker B&O audio system, hands-free tailgate, adaptive rear parcel shelf, and a hidden storage cubby where you would usually find a spare wheel.
