Recently in conversation with Autocar India, PCA President and MD Partha Datta confirmed that Jeep is developing a sub-4m SUV for the Indian market. The next two years will see Jeep launch the Compass facelift, a 7-seat SUV and the locally assembled Wrangler and Grand Cherokee in India. The compact SUV will follow later.
