vibhor 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 Go for the one with tata's new Dicor engine its a good diesel engine........
designersf 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 Dicor is the one to go for...
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 Ofcourse dicor anyday over tdi as its new more refined n powerful than before but with tata i think this more refined dicor makes more noise compared to tdi as i have heard this in some auto show
rssh 59 Report post Posted June 13, 2008 Well in Indigo CS according to ACI the DICOR is more refined than the indigo and the Indica and that the one to go .
rohit 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2008 turbo is soon going to be discontinued as new emission norms will come into place.....as far as your query is concerned dicor is more refined....you can test drive tdi and then dicor...you yourself will feel the difference. ACI says indica dicor is better than palio multijet in its reviews.
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted June 14, 2008 ya but its noisy but comes to the price...and thats the reason its a better buy...
Puneet 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2008 Go for DICOR
vibhor 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2008 yes..yes......simply go for Dicor......
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2008 Wait for the FIAT multijet....
vibhor 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2008 when it is going to be launched in indigo??..........
rohit 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2008 multijet will not come in indigo cs...in tata's stable dicor and multijet will co exist with multijet as a premium option. cs will come with dicor only
rssh 59 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 The Mulitjet will come to Indigo after the launch of Linea and Punto .
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2008 I doubt how long will Tata continue with the small DICOR with the Multijet around. Maintaining a second engine in the stable is an expensive business.
mehul_bhp 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2008 i think fiat's multijet is genrations ahead of tata's dicor....dicor is like a grand father while the multijet is the grand son !!!! according to me tata should discontinue their diesel's and use the fiat mjd in indica and indigo for the future !!!! rohit 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2008 we have to give credit to tata people...they have indegeniously developed dicor while multijet has been developed jointly by suzuki, fiat and g.m. please note that fiat bought in common rail technology and they are pioneers in this field. and dicor is matching multijet. rssh 59 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Well TATA can make good diesel engines the credit goes to 407 most of the mini trucks, busses have them also it has good torque ,power ,better performance than others and also it reliable . Tata have built 2.2lt DICOR with help of AVL but they have made it even multijet is made in collaboration.
mehul_bhp 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 well i appreciate that tata is trying hard to tame its engine's and all their efforts but the fact remains that even mahindra scorpio's engine is miles ahead of tata's diesel in safari in terms of nvh and performance levels.....even when my neighbour starts his one year old indica in morning itz enough to wake me up !!!! rssh 59 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Well I haven't driven the m-Hawk yet so can't comment but my test drive on the Safari was amazing and the engine was quiet silent till 2ooorpm but the noise after that give an aderanaline rush and it makes you push harder which I couldn't due to traffic ,this is when the windows are open. Back to the topic Indigo CS looks good from side and rear but its an Indigo so why are the Indica's headlamps in this it look out of order .Also the chrome on the grill makes it look as Indica. designersf 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 the fiat multijet win not be equipped in the present gen indica/indigo...the next gen model wil come with those engines...and then there is no news yet on the new indica
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 I think by all accounts the new Indica is around the corner. All derivatives will naturally follow.
aditya08 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 dicor engine better than tdi.
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 Dicor and TDi both stand for Common Rail Direct Injection. I think DICOR is the name used by Tata's after TDi so should logically be superior.
FuelRunGod 200 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 @sgiitk: DICOR is for common rail. TDi isn't a common rail. FRG
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 Thanks for correcting me. This is indeed news, that there is Direct Injection without common rail or Pump Duse
