KPL Testing Kit.

There are scan gauges and all.

The bottel is kept in a hanger which is fixed on the side of the bonnet.

This is just another way of Kpl testing. And somehow I find this one the most accurate. (you can never trust a computer).

I have seen people testing the kpl of their 2 wheelers in the method you suggested.

I think there needs to be some sort of pressure for the petrol to reach the engine looking at the tank and engine position(correct me if i am wrong).

Cause i still remember my old zen ran out of petrol many times(college days) and 1 liter petrol would never start the engine.

Dont reply - technology has changed   smiley2.gif

I am still not able to understand your question.

Well I have already told in my earlier post that a external high pressure fuel pump in in petrol vehicle are used.

And about your zen not starting in 1 litre petrol is because of the shape of your fuel tank (not exaclty a circle is it?). So no problem with a bottle.

Well according to me the FUll tank to Full tank is the best Method of calculating the KMPL , but some cars like Fiesta have these Advanced technology like the DIstance to empty meter which is a kinda computer thing that calculates and gives you the Reading abt how many more kms can be run in the Amount of litre of Fuel you are having!

Cheers!

better as in accurate may be.

I am talking about more on board computers (octavia has 9).

I think fiesta shows how much km the car will go same as octavia.

Honda CR-V shows how much the car will go plus the mileage like on the highway the other day it was showing a 12.8 so its that accurate. and range(km the car will go) were also shown like 352 (so with a 1km scale).

octavia scale is 10km so it shows 360km and then straight 350km.
