vibhor
i think there are more chances that this model will only come ...there will not be any extra changes for it.....
raj_5004
actually i am not too sure whether this is a face lifted innova. when have these pics been clicked, any idea vibhor? i have seen these innovas before, these are the ones sold in thailand market since long. same alloys, lights and grille. toyota had slightly modified the alloys, headlights and grille for the indian market. i have seen such innovas about a year back. also i saw one about 2 years back on indian roads, it had an unique number! speed
Innova needs a minor facelift right now. Its looks are getting old. Wonder why Toyota are going so slow ? I think by the festive season , most of old models will get freshened up to face the onslaught brought about by new model launches around then. Earlier carmakers used to launch facelifted models with new year, but now festive season is the choice.

speed
I dont think so , Swift still looks very fresh & beautiful. Marutis focus shall be on new launches - A-star & Splash right now.

mehul_bhp
i really think dat innova needs a bit more power than its current 102 bhp...cars like scorpio and safari are faster den innova...so with a facelift i am expecting more power than before in d car !!!! vibhor
.i love the current innova's looks but ya...there shold be some performace too...
raj_5004
i dont know why, but i dont think even if toyota increses the power of the innova, it will be upto scorpio or safari levels. i am just going by toyota tactics till now!
bluesapphire
though interiors are good they should make it better and should add more features...
vibhor
yes interiors can be improved ...i like the interiors if the"V" variant which comes with wooden finish.......but there is no doubt that more useful features are coming... speed
Parking sensors, steering mounted controls, climate control, will be few of the changes. Toyota has never offered a load of features & its cars become boring after sometime. Innova needs- more power, improved interior & exterior. vibhor
What about sunroof??..there should be sunroof optional in every car.......even when now the little i10 n fabia also gets as an option........ vibhor2008-07-27 15:23:
speed
I dont think so Toyota is going to offer a sunroof. Toyota is very firm on classification of its cars, it might offer one on Fortuner , when it gets launched.
vibhor
oh........i think we indians will just wait for fortuner......n i think at present there r no plans of toyota to launch its much..much...awaited fortuner....i dont think so taht toyota india has gud fortunes in india now..... speed
Fortuners launch has been postponed to end 2009. I have counted myself out of the waiting. By then foreign markets will be expecting new gen. Fortuner. So , it would be something like Qualis being sold in India.
vibhor
India is a growing market for cars........but some manufactures still dont understand it..!!
speed
I have lost a lot of trust in toyota, there was no need to go so slow in this market. Maybe its at the top of the world, but to expect appretiation in Indian market , it will have to move much faster & not think that Indian consumers are going to buy its products because of its international name & fame alone. Not having a small car in this market is a cardinal SIN. Toyota will pay for this somewhere down the lane.
vibhor
Yeah right!! toyota will have to pay for this.........its just ignoring our indian market ........
speed
For any manufacturer to break into the small car market , will require a hell lot of effort, as small car scene is pretty well developed in India. I dont see Toyota with its present line up of small cars , eating a pie out of Indian market.
