Crazy cat
@zal, 2.0l or 2.5l, petrol model in that segment will not succeed. When is the new Innova expected?
BonFre
2 liter is too small..it should be a 2.5 petrol engine. You might be right in asking for more power, but let me tell you, performance petrols is not a requirement in India, FE is! Present Innova petrol is not selling due to low FE, what would happen with larger engine?
bluesapphire
One of my friend has good relations with a Honda dealer & has information that an Automatic version is also going to be launched in India. buddy Innova is from Toyota and not Honda

sadsack
Toyota's designs are pathetic. The front grille treatment that started on the Camry and was extended to the Corolla now finds its way onto the Innova. Toyota as it is does not have strong designs and they compound this by carrying out face lifts that make the products look even more pathetic than they originally were. Great engineering though. thackervijay
but these are very different from ones showcased on shows in dubai. headlamps are dull and not clear as it shall be, same case with rear lamps though not that bad but more clearer front lamps were expected, also its chrome grill is missing. Kinshuk
Monkey got Grills! The innova looks even more funny! They could have added some shape to its flat sides as it still looks incomplete at the sides... body contours would have worked!

nikvint
After not so much success of New Corolla, Toyota should think on the design front for Innova. New Innova is just like a Lipstic on dull lips. It has not changed the facia, which was too ugly from the day it was launched. Due to it's width, Toyota has more room to adapt novel facia for Innova. But i think they have closed their design shop and employed few bachelors to do the job. All the best to Toyota.

They could have added some shape to its flat sides as it still looks incomplete at the sides... body contours would have worked! Well i agree with you... And regarding alloys, the current alloys were best and toyota should not have changed those smart looking alloys.. And current innova looks rugged while new one seems to be like car but still its MUV only..

bluesapphire
The finish of Faux wood isnt good, previous one was much better
saurabh
i in anyways never liked the looks of that woods impression, which just kills the fresh and better looking dash, which feels like a fake wood is being fitted into.
vibhor
But personally speaking i just love that wooden touch in the interiors of the car, but yeah!It depends which car is that, i would never like it in a lambo, and bluesapphire, the difference is that older one was dark and this is light(rosewood)it looks very nice to me and gives interiors an upmarket feel.
