Yup, am using the same engine, gives me about 10-11kmpl !!

Am getting it painted in Cubanite Silver...with dark tan and beige leather interiors...

Any idea as to how much bucket seats and air-con would cost?

(It did have an air con wayback in 1990s but the compressor died and wasnt replaced...)

As I got to know, we got an AC installed sometime in the later part of 80's; it was workin fine till 1994-95 when the compressor had a problem, didnt have it fixed as there were other cars in more regular use...during those times it did some highways comfortably with an AC...

As for now havent found an AC unit for the car; when I do...will let u all know!

Nice project. I had this 1100d from 1982-1988. You can improve the dashboard are by installing a wooden one with multiple gauges which a very distinctive look. Some people has fitted Ac in this car but at the cost of engines efficiency. You can add a free flow exhaust for better engine response and good rumbling note.
