Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted September 2, 2008 Maruti Suzuki is to launch the new A-Star, in a few weeks, with brand new K series engine that will make it's debut in the A Star. The Kseries engine is Euro 4 and 5 compliant. Osamo Suzuki is here to preview the A-Star and the new engine plant at Manesar, Gurgaon. The plant has come up at a cost of 9000 crores. The bulk of the A-Star is earmarked for exports. The A-Star will debut here first and in Europe early next year. The engine will be 1 liter capacity. bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted September 2, 2008 Good news that maruti will bring latest here 1st ofcourse following hyundai and seeing its success with i10 maruti also planned to debut it here 1st....good that a korean manufacturer started the trend here and planned to make india a small car hub..indian manufacturer didnt understood but an outside understood the potential in india of being small car hub.. gurdanish 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2008 k sieries is the new and an upgraded version of existing engines that suzuki is using for its cars.it is euro 4 and 5 complaint. just like hyundai launched i1o with its new kappa engine. the difference is the technology and more fuel efficiency.
